Great value

bought this 58" on a whim as it was open box and it was incredibly cheap so all it had was the power cord and no remote nor instructions. got it home and set it up very easily and was pleased to find out the remote from my previous samsung tv worked perfectly with it so i did not have to buy a universal remote. the size is perfect for my apartment and i would say the pic quality and sound is above par. all in all a great buy.

More features then I expected!

Now I can mirror my phone, I received many more channels than I expected, I have my stereo hooked up to it, and the best part is my wife enjoys it because I'm able to change the light settings on it to meet her needs for her eyes! Great details and color! I am very thankful I bought this TV!

Quality

bought a 58 inch samsung in november 2020, picture was great, loved the extra channels with samsung plus, but about 3 weeks ago started getting bad pixels on the bottom of the screen, last night it completely went out, in the middle of watching a show, there appeared a brown spot as if the film was melting, at first we thought it was the station, but realized it was the tv when we could not get any other stations, seems this model was not reliable as, this size tv is no longer being made. very disappointed would have thought it would have lasted longer than 20 months, hope the 43 inch samsung i bought for the bedroom a year ago lasts longer than that

Fantastic!

Samsung is the best!

HDMI Headaches

i purchased this tv specifically to connect to a laptop computer via hdmi. i have been using it for only about two weeks and have spent hours troubleshooting the hdmi connection. i foolishly passed up another tv brand for samsung because i thought i was getting a higher quality product. if the tv wasn't so difficult to box up and return to the store, i would have returned it within hours of purchasing the tv. since samsung obviously knows that the software is bad, i cannot believe they kept selling this model. i will never purchase another samsung product after this experience.

To connect your TV to a laptop, connect an HDMI cable (with an adapter, if necessary) into your computer, and connect the other end into the desired HDMI IN port on the TV. Make sure the cable is properly attached. Then, use the remote to navigate to Home, and then select Source. From there, select the PC as the video source. To wirelessly connect the TV to your device, read the instructions at PC Screen Sharing (Wireless) in Connection Guide, and then try to connect. Source > Connection Guide > PC > Screen Sharing (Wireless) Confirm that the TV and your PC are connected to the same network. If the TV has difficulties connecting to your PC due to surrounding radio interference, change the frequency of the wireless access band, and then try to connect. Everything Is Great But.......

Great resolution, apps 2/3

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tv has awesome resolution, the smart hub is pretty easy to use but after installing several apps and 3 months of use I needed to reset to factory defaults, apps were very slow but after the reset everything is smooth again. Overall still is a great tv for the price.

Excellent picture and features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The quality of the picture is excellent. The built in Tv speakers could be louder, but works fine for a small bedroom. Luckily the TV includes Bluetooth and optical features which works great with my soundbar. Occasionally, I lose sound and have to troubleshoot sound problems, but fixing the issue is not too difficult and usually just require using Bluetooth until the TV recognize my soundbar. The built in Apps are great, works good and helps if I choose to get rid of cable. Easy standard mounting options with a TV stand or wall mount. Overall, I think Samsung makes great televisions at a reasonable price.
