Customer reviews for SAMSUNG 60" Class TU700D-Series Crystal Ultra HD 4K Smart TV with HDR - UN60TU700DFXZA forQualified winner
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a younger adult my favorite thing about the Crystal UHD was the quality of the resolution, with a picture so clear not even my dreams could catch up. My younger sister loves the convenience of smart having a smart tv and she zooms right through the applications. My mother on the other hand loves how sleek it looks in her room. Over all, we love how amazing this tv is and it works for all of us! Thanks guys!

Hi Katm9, Thank you for purchasing the TU7000 and for your review. We appreciate your feedback regarding issues connecting external devices to your unit. When you are connecting your devices that supply 4K content to your TV, such as your Fire TV Stick, there is one very important step you need to do on your Samsung TV. You need to enable Input Signal Plus. Press the Home button on your TV remote, and then navigate to and select Settings > General. Select External Device Manager, and then select Input Signal Plus. Select the HDMI port you connected your device to, and then press Select to turn the feature On. I hope this helps. Not Like my old Samsung!
i purchased this model because of good experience with an older samsung tv. however, i am very disappointed with the poor picture quality on this new tv. the picture is way too bright and looks blurry all the time. i have spent hours trying all available picture quality settings and am still unhappy. i am using charter hd digital cable as an input (was great on my old tv) so i know i have a good quality input. i also had a lot of trouble getting the sound to sync correctly, it was like watching an old godzilla move! i would not recommend this tv for living room viewing, it would be ok for a large bar or restaurant.
RAH58: Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU7000 4K Smart TV and for your review. I am sorry to hear that you are not completely happy with your TV’s picture, and you are having issues getting your sound to sync. There are several image settings you can adjust to your liking such as Picture Mode and Expert Settings. Choose a Picture Mode by going to Settings > Picture > Picture Mode and choose from Dynamic, Standard, Natural, Movie, or Filmmaker Mode. If your picture seems too bright, you may want to try the NATURAL picture mode which is designed to reduce eye strain for a comfortable viewing experience. You can further adjust your sharpness, brightness, contrast, color, tint, contrast, white balance, and more by going to Settings > Picture > Expert Settings For optimal motion image performance, you may want to adjust the picture clarity setting by going to: Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > Picture Clarity Settings If you are hearing an audio delay across all sources/channels and you have a Home Theatre System or other speakers connected to your TV, you can access the Audio Delay settings to increase the audio delay. Go to: Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Output Audio Delay Please know that our 2020 TVs do have an audio Pass-Through feature. This feature allows the audio signal to be sent out unprocessed to an external Soundbar or receiver connected to the TV. The external Soundbar or receiver then processes the audio, thereby eliminating the added step of processing by the TV, which adds delay. On your TV go to: Settings > Audio > Expert Settings > Digital Audio Output Format > Pass-Through I hope this helps. For further assistance, please contact Samsung Customer Support. 1-800-SAMSUNG (ask for TVs), available 8AM -12AM EST, 7 days a week Or visit us on the Samsung website and click on the ‘Support’ link in the upper right corner of the homepage for: 1) Contact Us Options (LiveChat, Remote Support, Facebook, Twitter) 2) Product Support 3) Manuals and Downloads 4) Warranty Info 5) Product Registration: Registering your product gives you access to easy warranty support, convenient opt-in to special promos and offers, faster troubleshooting and service, and quick notification of system updates 6) Samsung Community: A great resource for getting help from Samsung moderators and customers and more 7) …and more product, repair, order, and care options ~ Samsung Solutions
Great TV so far BUT...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always been a Samsung fan and was in need of a larger size i started my search. It did not take long to find this 7 series 55 in Crystal UHD on quite a few websites and as I researched it I knew it was the one. Great picture quality price and smart functionality. Only problem i have had with it is i sometimes get a horrible screen flicker. I have not be able to track down what causes it but I think I have it narrowed down to streaming services. Overall happy with this purchase.
Exactly what I was looking for.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted a smaller TV for my home office. I used to support video conference call and watch movies. Picture quality is great. Sound is solid. The ability to add apps and control from my Google home app makes this a nice item.
This TV is slim and is everything we wanted.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have just moved to graduate school so having a TV on the wall for anti-stress binging was an absolute must. 1: the TV looks great on the wall! Perfectly centered and very minimal frame border makes it look perfect in our small room. 2: picture quality was as good as expected. We were worried the picture quality wouldn't be as good as advertised but we have found to really enjoy watching shows and the contrasts are great. 3: A surprise. The sound is phenomenal and we were not expecting it. I had argued for a while to get a matching sound bar to boost the performance, but honestly we might not even need it. The sound is crisp and there is never a cringe moment. In fact, it's so good I think it'll be a while before I could convince the Mrs to spring for one.
Best TV Ever!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this TV with my whole heart I use it for a multitude of things. I love being able to easily stream my favorite movies and Tv shows directly from the Tv and they look absolutely amazing with the crystal UHD 4K resolution! I also enjoy gaming on this tv it's game mode provides an amazing experience and has my games looking crisps. This tv made my dorm room the hangout spot to watch movies and all sorts of things and I would just like to say thank you Samsung for making amazing products for amazing memories!
Would be much improved by a new smarthub.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All in all I really enjoy my samsung television; I've sold them for many years and would recommend them to anyone. The Tizen smarthub is a nice reskin of the older software that ran on the televisions, however at times can crash or become laggy. I think that much of the experience is ruined by how quickly I disable features that become unusable. The other aspect is that in apps like Disney Plus or Netflix, the audio is much quieter than if I were to use an HDMI source like my PC; something that should admittedly be the other way around if you want people to use the apps frequently. All-in-all its a great tv, one that I would gladly keep for a while, but struggle with basic features.
Brings new life to the family
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This picture quality is so amazing. The screen actually comes to life. Set the TV up in the family room. One night while we were having dinner I actually tried to pass the potatoes to the woman in the screen she looks so real it was like she was sitting at the dinner table my wife thought I was crazy but I thought the women on the screen was at my table.
Good but not the best
i purchased this tv a year ago when it was on sale during the holidays. the good, 4k is great! the apps are awesome! but as far as regular hd viewing it is decent. the blacks get greyed out on dark scenes in some movies. there is no real “upscaling” as it says it does. for the price it is a decent hd tv. our main viewing tv is a vizeo m series which is a much better viewing tv. but for a basic tv with 4k and smart tv viewing. you cant beat the price when this is on sale!
