I tried this for the first time. (I normally use Gain) As my washing machine was running I was cleaning and noticed a very pleasant scent. It took me a few passes to realize that I am using new detergent. So, it is very pleasant. The other thing is it really cleans well. I read an article in Consumer Reports that identifies this detergent better than all rest. This is now my go to laundry detergent.

I used a different brand for years until I started noticing even the smallest stains were not coming out of our clothes. I did some online research and kept finding Persil at the top of the lists so I decided to give it a try. Does a great job with minor to "medium" stains without the need for additional pre-treatments. The smell is generic, not bad but not a tropical rain forest either. If you want people to smell your laundry 10 feet away you will need some sort of scent booster, but I am only concerned about clean clothes and no odors, not smelling like a spring meadow.

My husband has greasy work clothes and it is so difficult getting stains out! He also has underarm sweat and deodorant stains in his normal clothing. Gain, Arm and Hammer, Purex, and even Tide does not do what this detergent does! One wash and those stains were gone! It’s worth the extra not having to rewash clothing over and over to remove the stains! It’s smells clean and doesn’t take but a small amount to do the job!

This is by far my favorite laundry detergent because not only does the fragrance last a long time after you've hung up your clothes, but this detergent cleans like no other. I currently have Gain on hand because it was on sale and how I instantaneously regretted that after getting my clothes from the dryer. The Gain washed clothes were still dirty. Never again. I'll stick with Persil going forward.

Pleasantly surprised. Laundry smell amazing after use. Would pick this detergent again over Tide and Gain. Definately would buy again and again.
