Beautiful Picture but HORRIBLE sound!

i loved the beautiful picture on this television, but after 10 days of torture to my ears, i returned it. the sound was literally painful to listen to, and the equalized had no effect on the tinny tone! i shopped for a sound bar, but didn't want to spend anymore money! samsung really disappointed me!

backlight bleeding

I've had this tv for roughly 8 months. Since day one it has had a backlight bleeding issue, finally got around to call Samsung for a service, they came out, serviced the tv by replacing the screen, but it's doing the same thing with the lighting in dark scenes. Not sure if this is common among these specific tvs or not but quite frankly I'm over staring at this with the backlight bleeding throughout the whole screen . I wouldn't recommend buying this model.

If you are seeing too strong of a backlight on your TV screen during dark scenes, I recommend lowering the Brightness Picture Settings. To do so, go to Settings> Picture> Expert Settings> Brightness. BEAUTIFUL TV BUT ………WARRANTY IS FALSE

THE PROS So the tv is beautiful. It took some playing around with the settings. Love the Emanuel built into the tv. Very helpful in getting our settings right. This was a very nice upgrade from my Samsung 65” which I've owned for three years and never had a problem with. Great tv for sports and nice dark contrast. The remote seems simple but it's easy to navigate. My remote stopped working after two weeks but Samsung replaced it straight away. The doing is very good. I originally had my sound bar system hooked up to it but it was way too loud. So I just don't bother turning that on. I love the size. Fits beautiful on my new table. I like the fact that there are two slot settings for the stands. I chose the inner slots for more support on my table. The CONS THE WARRANTY. SAMS Club says there is a three year warranty. I registered with Samsung and they say no. It's only a one year. After me going back and forth to get the issue resolved for 12 days, I went to sams club and was there for several hours and they were very frustrated trying to resolve it. I had six people working on this for me there and to no avail. There is no remedy. SAMS CLUB CUSTOMER SERVICE They worked diligently trying to help me. I told them I am not leaving the club today until this issue is resolved or I will just be returning the tv and contacting the BBB. They were at their Witt's end and then I demanded a free Allstate four year plan like they were giving with the other tvs. They finally gave in and gave me the plan for free. I registered it when I got home and now I am very pleased with the outcome. THANK YOU SAMS CLUB FOR MAKING THIS RIGHT. FINALLY, I can say that I am very pleased with my purchase. But for all of you out there. Hold onto that box and manual and of course your receipt. Because Samsung does not honor their commitment to a three year warranty as stated in the manual, the box, and SAMS club warranty info listed on their website.

Doesnt work with Youtube tv app

when using the youtube tv app changing channels causes the tv to hang up and go dark , have to restart the app to go to next channel, this isnt a problem with my other samsung tv neither samsung or youtube tv have resolved this. when they do ill remove this review, if its still here, its still a problem
