[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We really like the picture on this TV. The downside is that we repeatedly have to power cycle the TV in order for it to clear its cache and display the app we want to run. For example, we click on YouTubeTV, we get to the menu but when we click on a channel, the TV displays a black picture with no sound. We have to pop /reset the breaker (it is plugged into the wall behind the TV) in order for the TV to properly load and display the app. It also does this with Disney +, Discovery +, etc. We have two other Samsung TVs in the house and do not have this issue.

Excellent TV 5/5
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tv is amazing. The picture on it is incredible. I upgraded from a 42” 2007 Sony flatscreen and this tv is far superior. It's ultra thin and super light weight. The installation was easy and the screen set up easy as well. It has so many apps and it is super user friendly. I would recommend this tv to everyone

It has clear, crisp lines and weather you are watching sports, movies or reality television the picture is so life like. As far as being a smart television, it was incredible to watch how quickly and easily the television and Samsung remote detected devices and linked all of my streaming accounts. The many preloaded apps and streaming platforms are arranged in a very easy format which makes switching between platforms very easy! The picture is perfect for gaming. The quality and sharpness of the picture really unleashes the power of the console! Overall, having switched from a 4k model to this Samsung UHD, I had no idea what I was missing!!! This television really brings together and amazing picture, integrated streaming platforms and apps, and a remote which is intuitive and easy to use. I highly recommend this model!
The crystal clear picture and thinness of the TV
great reviews the picture is crystal clear the tv is thin as heck. the remote is very confusing it's so small and very little buttons i need help in that. the apps are good. sound is awesome. i don't like the remote going to directv when i start the tv on netflix. i need help in that. other than that it's a great great investment.

This product is user friendly!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this TV for streaming Netflix, Hulu, HBO Max and play video games. The clarity and quality is great as I can see the small minuscule details when playing games. My favorite feature is the capability of using other smart devices for controlling the TV. I am able to use my echo glasses to control the volume and channels of the TV and be able to turn it off. It has made things really easy and the integration is smooth.
55 inch Samsung TV

I love that the remote controls the 2 Blue Ray Players I have (both Samsung). I have had Samsung TV for the last 15-20 years. I Love the color and the ease of use with them. I bought this TV because of my Great experiences with Samsung TVs. I love the size when I sit at my desk and I don't need glasses to read the screen!
Fair price, awesome quality

The builtin Bluetooth module is super useful, I use it to connect my wireless headset. Tizen works well and most of the apps are available, some functions like screen mirroring could be faster though.

If you are utilizing an Android device to screen mirror to your AU8000, there are two different ways you can cast to your TV: 1) Smart View: Open the quick settings panel on your Android devices by swiping down from the top of the screen using two fingers. Then swipe to and tap the Smart View icon. Tap your TV from the list of Available devices. Enter a PIN or allow access to complete the connection if prompted. Your device's screen will now appear on the TV. If you want to stream the TV's screen to your phone or tablet, and the TV supports it, tap Other device → Phone. To switch back, tap Phone → Other device. 2) SmartThings App: Using your phone or tablet, open the SmartThings app, and select the TV you would like to mirror to. Make sure the TV is turned on and connected to your SmartThings account. In the TV's setting page, tap More options (the three vertical dots), and then tap Mirror screen (Smart View). If needed, give your TV permission to access your device. I hope these tips help improve your TV's response time when screen mirroring. DO NOT BUY!! You have been warned!
Bought this TV around Christmas,,,, = 4 months ago. the remote is a piece of garbage, so had to buy an after market one. then last month the screen freezes and the only way to fix this is cut the TV off then back on. The picture is only so-so. tried customer support and got the run around & they were no help at all. They say I got a 1 year warranty but that is a joke also. Whatever you do, DO NOT BUY this TV. Mark my words you will regret it.
Easy to set up and looks great.

I had no trouble setting up the TV and connecting it to DVD and Blu-Ray players. The Samsung TV replaced an old 46 inch TV and occupies the same footprint. The narrow edge and thin build make the TV look almost invisible except for the image onscreen.
