Clear and Crisp Color

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use the TV for entertainment - movies, daily news, some tv shows. I love the size and how thin it is. Its slim feature actually is the main reason I picked this model. It kinda look like a big picture frame hanging on the wall. The resolution is sharp and the colors are crisp. The only complain I have is the number of Hdmi ports. There are only 3 hdmi ports, and one of those is positioned facing opposite the screen unlike the other two which are sideways. So when you plug in an hdmi cable or the optical cable, they kind of bulge towards the wall creating more space between the tv and the wall. I would have appreciate it more if samsung puts these 2 ports along with the other hdmi and usb ports facing sideways. Other than this, I am pretty much happy with my TV.

Excellent TV for the Price

The ease of setting it up and downloading apps is very intuitive. My family has enjoyed the services and ease of use. I am very pleased with the purchase.

My precious new purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just recently purchased my TV and so far I've been loving it. My favorite part is that it connects to my phone too, makes it so easy to use and it is a perfect size for my room. I also really like that the technology is super advance where I can stream from my phone and see it in my TV. The visuals are great and the remote control is a perfect size too. Overall I think this Samsung TV is by far the best electronic purchased I've done recently!

No NBA App???!!!

samsung does not support the nba app??!! i'm a big sports fan and bought my samsung tv exclusively to watch sports. i assumed that the nba app would be available and was floored that it wasn't. basketball is a huge sport, why on earth can't samsung get access to this popular and essential sports app? the app of one of the four largest sports in america isn't available? mind boggling.... if you are a sports fan like me, i'd strongly advise against buying a samsung tv. i may even return mine due to this ridiculous issue. samsung - figure it out!

TV itself is great, however

i don't like the built in samsung tv app.. mostly older programming.. i prefer fire tv.. i added my fire stick but kept getting conflicts with samsung interface.. firestick would lockup or not show up at all. i'm sure samsung tv wants to be primary app but it can't compete with fire or roku... deal breaker for me...i won't by another samsung with samsung but in streaming app

Your experience is important to us and will be shared with our product teams. Please know, Samsung TV Plus can be disabled, removing the channels from your default guide. Should you want to disable TV plus, follow the steps below: 1) Navigate to the Samsung TV Plus app and press and hold the enter or select button on the remote. This will bring up two options. ‘Move’ and ‘Remove’. 2) Navigate to ‘Remove’ and select. This option brings up the ability to remove the app icon or disable the service. 3) Navigate to ‘Disable’ and select. This will remove the service from the launcher bar and the channels from the TV Guide. Alternatively, you can leave TV Plus enabled and utilize the Autorun Last App feature to automatically start the last app you used once the TV is turned on. To enable this feature, follow the steps below: 1) Navigate to Settings > General > Smart Features > Autorun Smart Hub 2) Enable the Autorun Smart Hub feature 3) Navigate to Settings > General > Smart Features > Autorun Last App 4) Enable the Autorun Last App feature Should you wish to use an external streaming device instead of the built in smart features on the TV, you can utilize one of the three available HDMI ports to connect an external device. 58” Samsung tv loop problem

I bought this tv just overall a year ago. It ran into the typical Samsung start up and shut down loop problem. Called Samsung but the warranty was out and got no help at all. I'm now out 1000$ and back to my old Sony tv. I'm not a person that complains a lot but I'll never buy another Samsung product after getting ripped on the 58” tv. I've done a lot of research on Samsung tv's since and I realize I made a bad choice. I should have bought another Sony.

Excellent Smart TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this television a few months ago to replace an aging older model. It gets used about 20 hrs a day from the morning news to streaming our favorite movies into the late evening and sometimes - all night long. The crystal display produces a sharp, crisp picture with vivid colors and superior black shades. It's a great addition to any decor and is reasonably priced. We simply love it.
