[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Picture quality is excellent for the price, however the O/S of the 'Smart' is extremely slow. The apps have various degrees of slowness, so acknowledged it could be partly the app development. That said, several of the apps I have on other smart televisions and are not as painstakingly slow in operation; which tells me this TV's operating system is underpowered.

the picture and sound are very good. hook up was very simple. the remote is what worries me. there are very few buttons and some are multipurpose, so they get a lot of use. there are no numbers, but you can hit a button to get numbers on the screen. the problem is we like to scroll the low number channels and the high number channels and haven't found a way to get between them without a lot of button pushing.

the tv has a great picture. the sound quality could be a bit better but i knew that going in. the remote has been a learning curve. it's almost too simplistic but i am getting the hang if it. still havent tested the dvd player i hooked up to it. this tv has definitely enticed me into watching more tv. lol. in my opinion it was the best bang for my buck. not extremely expensive, perfect for my needs. i probably could have managed with a smaller one but the 55 inch one feels like i am watching a movie screen in my small living room. i don't play games. if you do, you will need a tv with more ports. if you just want a nice mid-priced tv to watch, this is it. if the sound quality needs to be better for you, i suggest a sound bar.

I bought this TV a couple of weeks ago based on 1) price and 2) fits in the space I have available. The HD channels have great color and clarity. Setting it up was not very difficult (though I am still learning). I also added a Samsung sound bar as I have hearing aids and that brings the sound forward instead of at the back.

For a lot of us 65+, technology runs past us so fast we typically can't keep up. This unit was extremely easy to set up and took little time to complete. I have owned other Samsung products (Galaxy phones, and a 50" Plasma). All exceeded my expectations, and I'm happy that I chose Samsung once again!

easy set-up, easy to learn navigation, easy, easy, easy! transitioning from cable to streaming- which we were doing anyway- this new tv has the family back together on the sofa watching movies and such rather than in our individual rooms (not much on cable, so we'd stream in our bedrooms at night, and not being big tv people anyway, the old tv just sat there for the past few years). in any case, you nudge the little volume bar up or down- even our combined genius took a minute to figure that out :) great price, great picture, fantastic sound with the sound bar and woofer we purchased- just 110% satisfied!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TV is very reasonably priced had has tons of great features for the money. The color is of the screen is perfect even in direct sunlight. Gaming on the TV is very smooth there is no delay at all. And there is 3 HDMI ports for all my consoles. One of my favorite things is you can control the TV from your phone and turn it off and on. Another great feature is Samsung TV plus. So overall for the price this TV is amazing and highly recommend buying.

the tv display is perfect however there is a very loud clicking sound that comes from behind the tv. i have had samsung come over and repalce every part un the tv however the issue still exist. they are offering a replacement however i am almost certain it will have the same problem. the clicking sound even happens when the tv is off, it is very very annoying. i do suggest a sony tv instead, the quality from the japanese vs the korean brand definitely shows. dissapointed in you samsung for still selling this product even though people have been complaining.
