I have had Roku TVs and devices for more than 11 years. During that time I have been extremely happy with the devices. Until... In 2022 I bought three new 4K streaming Sticks. The devices themselves work but the remotes are awful! At least Once a week I have to reset the remotes. When they "die" they can only turn the TV on and operate the volume. I have to restart the streaming stick and go through the process of either pressing the button under in the battery compartment and waiting five seconds. Or, resetting the device completely and Going to the webpage to choose apps again, yadda yadda. After the 10 minutes it takes for this process, it rearranges the order in which you have your apps which is a pain! It probably takes another 10 minutes every time I have to reset the remote. Ugh! While I love the device, seriously, do something about the remote Roku!

I have used ROKU and Firestick and Google TV. I prefer the ROKU to any of the others. It is very easy to customize your menu screens and the remote is excellent. The ROKU Channel offer great entertainment value and great assortment of programming. All for free. The new remotes have a rechargeable battery with a USB-C port. The battery life is excellent.

Over all it’s ok but not impressed that you have to buy subscriptions to channels. I’m really not impressed that you can’t get local news channels unless you live in a real big city and there’s only a few. The other thing I’m not impressed with is the there is no REAL LIVE channels, the tv you view is old. By the time you buy channels then compare price with cable, satellite you pay the same.

I have been frustrated with using a Roku on my Samsung TV. I thought I would give it one more try and this one is GREAT! I works turning the TV on and is quick and efficient changing streaming services and channels within a service. I’m so glad I purchased this.

I have had my Roku streaming stick for about 6 months. For the first 4 months it was wonderful. Unfortunately for the last ~2 months it has become an exercise in frustration. Roku updated the FW and the fast forward no longer works--the video freezes while the audio properly moves forward. There is a long thread on this in Roku's community website (search for Black screen and video freeze) -- many people are experiencing this problem. I can't recommend this device until Roku fixes it. It's unfortunately, because everything else about the product is top notch.

I love Roku since it first came out. The latest version in the microphone or everything is easy and fun to use. I do struggle with the time sleep timer because I hate having to find the TV control to do it. I would love if it would be included in the Roku service

It is so fun to be able to come home from work and spend hours watching my favorite comedies. I used to watch my tablet when I wanted to watch Netflix, Hulu, etc. so I’ve already been paying for subscriptions, but now I can watch on my tv instead. It was very easy and quick to set up and I love having so many options so I never get bored. Even if you only want to pay to subscribe to 2 or 3 apps, you’ll still have a lot of options.

I like the new Roku because it works not using infrared but Bluetooth technology. The old Roku I have does not work very good I wish you would exchange it for me but it got to the point where I have to bring the control unit right up to the receiver. So would like another one please

I love my Roku Streaming Stick. Becauseof the cost of cable. I onlu pay for the internet. My Roku satisfies me with there free live TV. You can also download other free apps and any app that you may want too watch. I may never pay for cable again. I highly recommend the Roku Streaming Stick.

I wasn't sure I'd like using Roku all the time, but I do. There seems to be much more available then I had initially thought. One suggestion on the remote is to have it be a touch bigger & a bit of light within to see the buttons easier when watching in a lower lit room.
