I love everything about the Roku stick. But the one thing that stands out is the genius of the way the remote control is laid out. It was a brilliant move to put the volume control and the mute on the side of the remote control. I can operate it in the dark and not mess up like I do on my LG, Samsung, and Sony remote controls. I would buy the Roku for no other reason than that. But it’s very well laid out and it’s very easy to find all the apps that I want. If you’re tired of hitting the wrong button all the time and wish you had a remote control of that was smart by the Roku and you’ll be a happy watcher!

Other devices require the viewer to identify the streaming service the desired show/event. With Roku voice control the viewer tells Roku the name of the show/movie/event and Roku displays all the streaming service options (& prices) for that broadcast. It's a huge time saver and eliminates the frustration of searching (& failing) for the desired broadcast. No more sitting down to watch ‘the game' or ‘the show' and spending 10-40 mintes searching for the desired broadcast. NFL is still a little difficult until you learn the streaming partners. But overall this feature elevates ROKU to superior status.

The interface, being customizable with more than just the Firestick's 6 apps/channels is great. Plus the fast start-up is refreshing as even my newest Firestick takes 10 secs to bring up the home screen. Only drawback is that it won't work with surround sound systems (we have a Sony) attached to the TV, only soundbars. I'd give it 5 starts if it weren't for that and get rid of my one remaining FireStick.

pretty simple to operate, and install, great device, new at streaming, should had done this long ago. i have one that is back lit, all should come that way. do not like the charge feature though, rather just put batteries in when goes south. overall, excellent.

We were skeptical and afraid of letting cable TV go but, after getting up the courage to pull the plug on cable TV and going with Roku, our viewing life was totally changed. We have 9 TVs and every one of them is now a Roku TV. The ability to find about any kind of program or movie at any given time was mind blowing, to say the least. We also enjoy being able to control our TVs using the voice command feature. it is so convenient. The only downside is that we now have to subscribe to various networks in order to complete some of our viewing preferences. I still give the Roku a five-star review and would recommend it to anyone brave enough to cut the cable! Thanks Roku

It is so much faster than our old fire stick, it's unbelievable. Also the Home Screen is 1,000,000 times better. I love that when I turn the Home Screen on, I see the apps that I want to use, and not a bunch of ads (which is what the fire stick does). I have enjoyed using backdrops and customizing the Home Screen. I would like to have more options for Home Screen customization (I like the winter wonderland theme for the holidays- other holiday themes would be fun when they come out). I would also like to be able to listen to Spotify while my backdrops are playing.

I love the Roku Streaming Stick 4K! It was easy to setup and the price is reasonable. Since it is a streaming stick, you can't set the timer to go off through the device. However, it works well on other televisions and even better through the Roku app. I would recommend giving these devices for gifts. Get a couple today.

When I first purchased my roku I was unsure of it at first cause i didn't know what my experience would be . I got one though and I actually lived the experience with Roku. It was easy to install and very easy to use and access the apps to watch my favorite movies and stream the latest tv shows that I like to watch .

I have two ROKU streaming sticks. Once an older television can't load anymore apps, purchasing a ROKU for use with an older but reliable television is a much better option than buying a new TV. I was advised to just get a ROKU by the salesman that sells high end televisions. I am grateful!

We are loving all 5 of our Rokus. We bought 3 for family members. Different styles. The 4k stick is stronger and less clutter and the signal is perfect. Our last one was 5 years old and finally gave up. So now we buy extras to give to friends. Picture and sound are great. Even through a soundbar.
