When we retired ten years ago we decided to drop the expense of cable tv. Roku was pretty new to us but we decided to give it a try. We have five tv sets on Roku now and have had other Roku devices in the past. I love this stick with the remote that can turn our non-Roku tv on and off and control the volume. This is something we only got to do with our TCL Roku tv in the past. It was so easy to set up. This one picks up the wifi signal better than the last device did (the set isn’t too close to the wifi source). I highly recommend this stick and remote.

I set it up to record a show and it said it was recording it, but it recorded something completely different. It showed the proper name of the show, but it was recording an entirely different station. The show was being broadcast on the proper channel. Not happy. Besides the fact that it is always buffering. Sigh.

I have Roku devices on 4 of my televisions. This replaced a failed 4K stick due to a software update. In fact, I had to reinstall all my Roku sticks but one continued to fail so this is the replacement. Also, would like to see this product become more intuitive while streaming my cable provider.

When my remote control was acting up on my new roku. I'm my old roku. I call customer service and I got ahold of the tech that was so nice and so grateful that he sent me a roku box for free and I've been with roku all the time, I won't go back to no Comcast or cable. I love roku. I just pay for internet. And I got all my little channels. And roko is adding new channels every day and I'm just enjoying my roku. The technician told me for being a good customer for roku.I said I don't want to go nowhere else.I'm gonna even buy me another roku TV.I love roku.Thanks a lot you made my day

It's so wonderful having all of my streaming options in one place without the expensive new TV purchase or having to sign out of one app on my tablet, finding the other app and reconnecting. The flow of the Roku Streaming Stick from one app to another is so smooth and easy. Love it!

Pro-Sans Riku device we would be unable to stream the Spectrum app on our LG 4K TV. Cons- neither the device or software allows for directly entering a tv channel. Huge loss of user friendly aspect. Also, time to time you have to "reset" the device (w/device button) to clear the cache. Finally, Roku does not provide a way to clear the 'Recently Watched' list on Spectrum app.

My Roku is great! It has been a lifesaver for us financially. I also want to thank the employees at Roku for making such a good product. I know they probably don't get much praise, so I just want to say thank you and tell you all to keep up the good work.

We purchased a streaming stick 4k a month ago when we “cut the cable.” Our ISP offered YouTubeTV and we chose Roku as our remote system to select our streaming apps and to control YouTube TV. I was pleased with our choice and my wife quickly learned to use the new system. We still are not proficient in selecting channels to watch or to record for future use. We liked our simple cable box but as a 70 year old couple, our grandchildren are helping us to move into the 21st century!

So, the remote upgrades are fun. But other than that and the fresh speed the system has, it was a HUGE ball ache trying to get the whole thing working. It did keep all my channels from my last Roku system, but all the thumbnails were missing, and the only solution I could find (after trying every kind of reset and restart known to the internet) was to arduously go in and manually delete and reinstall each channel. Once I did that, all the thumbnails were there. But WOW. That sucked. I was happy enough with my old Roku system, honestly.

I have had spectrum cable for over 16 years and I barely watch TV only the news and the hallmark channel and prices kept going up, my son finally said we need to try roku I was scared because I though I would not be able to see my 2 shows that I like and I thought it was going to be hard to use roku I am old and I don't like learning new things, but this was the best decision I ever made I get to see my shows and news and it took me a few days to figure it out but I love it and recommend it to everyone who still has cable Roku has saved me so much money and I am happy.
