Great with refried fresh beans

I’ve purchased several cotija cheeses and this one is the most flavorful, and it’s priced at a really good price since it’s sold in bulk. I use it for most of my dishes.

best Mexican cheese!

I have been buying this cheese for several years. I know it is salty, but lately, it has become almost impossible to eat due to the amount of salt. The time before last, I thought it was just a fluke, but this latest time it is exactly the same. So, I believe they have gone overboard with the salt. I won't be buying it again, because it amounts to throwing away $20.

Too salty

You can use this cheese for an endless list of Mexican food such as Chiles rellenos, chicken enchiladas, and rajas con queso tamales
