overall an improvement on older technology

I finally figured most things out. For a LONG time I couldn't find the HDMI inputs on the opposite side. They're obviously somewhat hidden. One negative is there doesn't appear to be a way to add channel apps. For example HBO-go or certain other channels I like. Yes there is a long list of preloaded channel aps but only a few of them are of use to me personally. The Remote control is oddly shaped and "balanced"; Because I expect the largest and heaviest part to fit in the hand rather than extend out the front I'm ALWAYS picking it up backwards.

not for the rural internet users

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had our tv for less than 6 months and our internet is not the greatest due to our location. It WILL stop working if it has not had the opportunity to update via the wifi. And the updates are not small.

Amazing how much I was living in the past

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this TV to upgrade from a 32-inch insignia tv. The only way I could watch anything was to plug in stuff to the HDMI ports and use either a chromecast or my video game consoles. Having all that streaming stuff built in is absolutely game changing. The TV I had before is about 10 years old.

Not like the old vizio's

The box arrived ripped and crushed. The packaging inside did not appear to be affected so we decided to plug it in to give it a go. The packaging is not the problem. The remote works half the time. The screen freezes and you can't get to channels. You have to unplug the TV to get everything to reset. Really disappointed. My last vizio is still kicking after 14 years. We will be lucky if this one makes a year.

Sooooooooo slow and buffers

I literally have to wait after hitting each button to see if it worked. Buffers and stops on all apps. No system updates, I have gigabit internet, I reset tv, router, and modem, I turned off the other devices connected to the router. Nothing worked. None of my other devices have these kind of issues. I've never had problems with Vizio, so this is disappointing. I unfortunately mounted the TV on my wall without using it first.

I love it!

The only thing I don't like is the feet. I prefer the pedestal stand in the middle. Because of the distance between the feet, I had to get a new stand for it. My old Visio tv had a pedestal stand and fit fine on my tv stand. My new tv's feet were so far apart that I couldn't sit both on my stand.

Nice picture

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My insignia tv broke so we needed to replace it, I'm used to the Roku layout so I will need to get used to the Vizio operating system but the TV was a good price and has a nice picture quality, I'm sure I'll get used to the style

Its ok.

It's a smart TV that wont let you download additional apps. You can only watch the installed apps. Or maybe i just haven't been able to figure out how to do that. Also the pictures start off a little blurry but eventually clears. It's annoying to me but others may not care or notice. Overall good TV for the price and size.

So far. really great.

I actually meant to order a larger screen but I hit the wrong because I received a 40" (which is not small, but these days....) anyway the screen and pictures are beautiful. Wonderful glass. Simple install and simple switching with the Fire stick from regular 'network' tv to Every streaming channel in the world. Well....almost. i'm very happy with it and the picture is so good I don't even notice it's smaller.

Overall good TV

The TV is very nice and easy. The buttons for Amazon Prime, Netflix, etc. are convenient on the remote for direct access. The only issue with the remote is that the channel buttons don't engage the channel change, but the cable remote does that fine. The sound is very good on the TV and it's a nice product overall.
