WE ALL LOVE OUR NEW SHREDDER IN OUR OFFICE. IT IS QUIET, EFFICIENT, AND KEEPS ON GOING. WE COLDN'T BE MORE PLEASED. SOMETIMES IT STOPS - USUALLY IF I HAVE PUT TOO MANY COPIES IN, BUT IT STARTS AGAIN AND JUST KEEPS TICKING...IT HAS MADE A HUGE DIFFERENCE TO OUR MEDICAL PRACTICE

Will not shred 14 sheets. The best I could do when first tested was 12 sheets. This is good compared to my previous shredder. So far I am happy. The safe sense feature will not work while standing in front of the shredder. You have to knell to have the sensor work. Not a practical way to operate for a floor unit.

I had a similar Fellowes shredder for 10 years and it finally died, mostly due to being broken when it tipped over. I specifically searched out the same shredder so I believe I have another 10 years of service! I would highly recommend this one! The power is incredible!

I am replacing my Fellowes PS-77C shredder. This was a very good shredder for my office for my home business. As I am now retired, I decided to purchase a newer and larger capacity shredder to start destroying my business records. I bought the largest one available from the retailer I use. The Fellowes shredders I have always used in the past have done me a great job and I expect no less from the 79CI. Spend your money and pick the Fellowes shredder that fits your lifestyle. You will not be disappointed!

I am very impressed with this shredder. I bought it to replace a shredder by a different company that didn't last. This Fellowes shredder is very quiet, appears very strong and of high quality as well. It's just the right size for my home/office. I'm glad I bought this shredder. It's the best I've owned.

I was initially reluctant to spend this much on a home office shredder, but I think that it is well worth the money. I have had it about a month and have shredded a ton of stuff without a single problem. Sometimes, if I put in a little too much it stops but always self-reverses and then gobbles the stuff up. I have never had to clear a jam. Basket capacity is good.

There are shredders and, then, there are shredders. This is THE SHREDDER, the best thing I've purchased in years! Life is great now that I don't spend hours a week unjamming my shredder. I love everything about this shredder: ease of use, speed, safety features, quiet operation, portability and jam resistance. Shredding is fun and life is great! And, this is the ONE!!!

I recently replaced my old Fellowes shredder with the slightly more expensive PS-79Ci model. I wanted a shredder that could handle more paper and would not jam. Since using this new model, I have been totally impressed with the power that it has and the quiet operation. I'm still waiting for a jam to occur and it seems like I will wait a long time!

At first I was reluctant to spend this much for a shredder. I don't really shred that much... until now! I replaced a shredder that seemed to struggle with just a few sheets; and it was loud. You don't realize how loud until you experience the Fellowes. Very Quiet. Handles several sheets easily. CD's and credit cards are no problem. Now I don't throw out anything with my name and address on it without shredding it first and I feel much more secure about my ID.

This shredders' performance is outstanding. I and other family members use it on a daily basis. With proper,simple maintenance instructions to follow, this shredder is functioning at optimal levels. The most important features I look for in a shredder is safesense technology and jam proof systems. I have no regrets for purchasing this shredder.
