From the first day of use, I have hated this shredder. I still have the fellowes shredder that I purchased 15 years ago, and it works circles around this piece of junk. This is the messiest shredder that I have ever worked with. Never again will I purchase a shredder from fellowes.

We have a small home business and have more than the average amount of shredding to do. I like the power of the motor but it's not too loud. I also like the window on the bin showing when it's full. My biggest disappointment is the amount of time it can be used before it overheats and has to be turned off to cool down.

I was very pleased with the operation of this shredder. It worked exactly as advertised and as the owner's manual said it would. When I contacted Fellowes through their web site to ask a question, I received a response the same day. Carole N. was quite helpful and my question was answered.

The PS-79Ci is the best shredder ever. There is no chance of it jamming and it tells you how much paper you can put in at one time. If you try to put in to much instead of accepting the paper and jamming, it tells you you're trying to put in to much. If and whenever I have to purchase a shredder for work, I always purchase the PS-79Ci.

Our Daughter came home from 5 years in South Korea where she was teaching . She had a box of papers that needed to be shredded and our ould shreder had just stopped working right before she came home We needed a new shredder right away and found the fellows PS 79 C For seveal days we shredded Other then when the bin was full and having to clean off the shredder part this shredder has been a work horse So far we are pleased with it

We have had this shredder for four years. Then one day it stopped working. I called customer service, and in minutes they walked me through-step by step-to get it working again. It just needed a little cleaning. That was it. We are a small company (18 people) and use it all the time.

This shredder has turned out to be the absolute best one ever!! I have purchased a dozen others over the past 15 years and I will say you need look no further for a shredder. This one is the best. I actually bought this in Feb 2010 and when our shredder fried at work, you guessed it, we replaced it with the PS 79ci just like the one I have at home.

All Lights remain on to include the Auto light. I've checked for jams (none), I've read the instructions on how to clean and oil. What would be the reason that all lights would light up and remain on. Also note that even though the auto light is engaged (on), I still have to use the manual feed in order to shread.

I just recieved my shredder, so I can't say it will last forever. However, it's quite impressive. It runs quiet and it feels like the motor weighs over 20 lbs.I've burned up 2 or 3 shredders in the last 10 years. Every time getting a little better than before.I'm convinced that this one will go the distance.As they say you get what you pay for.
