Really like so far, but I'm being very careful not to run through sticky seals, no envelopes, no staples or credit cards. I've already ruined about 3 ordinary shredders--not taking any chances with this one. Also bought oil sheets. Very happy so far.

After going thru 2 different home office shredders, I finally broke down and decided to shell out the extra bucks for something sturdier. This shredder does not disappoint! It is exactly what I was looking for - it shreds quickly and quietly, is easy to clean and use.

I bought this machine after having done a search online for the best shredder for the home. I have not been disappointed. It is my opinion that for what I paid through walmart and after using this shredder to destroy unwanted mail and old paperwork, that this is the best machine for home use. It is small enough for the home, yet it can handle a large quantity of work without a problem. It is so much quieter than my old shedder. You wont have to worry about waking the baby with this model. It is all that I thought it would be.

I've researched paper shredders until I was blue in the face. I've had bad luck with them since I guess I've always bought cheap ones. They don't last and jam up if you look at it wrong. This one was rated very high on the Top paper shredders. I just got it yesterday and I just love it. That is if you can love a paper shredder. lol It moves very easily and definitely heavy. I have to find more stuff to shred!

This shredder does everthing that it is supposed to do. I like it very much. If I had it to do over, I might look at a little larger model. Shredding 10 to 13 pages at a time does not quite come up to what I would like. However, that's what it advertised, so it's my fault. The plastic bags are a little more trouble than they are worth, so I don't use them. Just occasionally pack down the bin and empty it out when too full to continue.

I purchased this shredder because I was moving and had years of tax returns that I needed to go through and shred. Not to mention various mail and other items. This was exactly what I needed to do the job! No more mail piling up. Would definitely recommend this shredder! Works great!

I have had this a couple of weeks. So far it meets all my expectations as the advertised product. It has a fantastic cutter in it and does a great job. A recommendation--make sure you oil it as directed every time you empty the bin--not a hard deal at all and you can use simple veggy oil from your kitchen on it when the supplied oil run out.

We highly recommend this shredder to anyone in the market for a quiet, easy to use machine. Very happy with the price when compared to comparable models. Does a great job chopping through multiple sheets. We discovered that if you were trying to shred light weight paper (ie: credit card receipts) you needed to add a sheet of regular weight paper to help it feed into the machine, but didn't find it a problem.

I have had many shredders and this is by far the best quality and the most quiet shredder I have ever had. Lots of safety features. I also like that you cant put to many sheets of paper in at one time. It simply wont run if there are to many pieces. Its a bit pricey, but with the quality of Fellowes shredders I expect it to last a long time. Well worth the investment.

This replaced another Fellows that finally quit after several years. I am a casual user so I can't comment on how it operates with bulk shredding and possible jamming. But it is quieter than the last fellows for the same size unit. Case is a little flimsy, but the head with the cutting blades is very robust. I like the fill window as well.
