So easy to start! Sometimes it may take 2 pulls, but it cranks so easily. Perfect for women and small framed teens to use. One drawback- the self propel has to be disengaged when turning the mower. It pulls strong and fast for our short legs (lol). The good part is that the mower is lightweight enough to use without the self propel in thinner or low cut grass. My family loves it! I read a few bad reviews that really surprised me. Maybe manufacturer stuff??? This is year 2 and it still operates as it did last Spring when purchased. Hopefully, we get many more years from it.

Used it once since I got it. Did the job. Seems sturdy and well built. Love the cutting deck lever. So easy to raise and lower the deck with one lever. I wonder about the never change the engine oil thing. Not sure how that works so I’ll probably still change the oil anyway. The RWD is great. I have a bad back and the assist is nice to have. I use it to cut a 1/4 acre. Unless you enjoy the walking I’d say 1/2 acre or less and this mower is great for the task. It was shipped in good condition and it was super easy to assemble.

Mower is heavier than my last mower and harder to direct around my lawn. Self propelled feature is too fast so I don't use it. The fold up feature to store mower is not practical due to the weight of the mower. My last mower was front wheel driven and easier to operate than this mower which is rear wheel driven.

Easy set up with the instructions. Easy start - one pull - excellent cut on shorter grass, and is able to tackle the thicker, higher growth with several passes as well. We live in the country with a variety of fielded areas, so this machine works well for what we need. Just purchased, so unable to post a review regarding how it works in the long term.

I bought this mower when it was on sale for $299. That's a great price for a rear wheel drive mower. It appears to be made well and of high quality. It cranks easily and usually on the first pull. It's very powerful, almost too powerful as some have said, as it pulls rapidly and forcefully when using the self propel feature. It takes some getting used to, as there is no way to adjust the speed, but it does do a great job cutting and mulching the grass. For the price I paid, I am impressed.

I wanted to love this lawnmower but I didn't realize it was rear wheel drive. When I went to try it out I almost fell as it just took off on me. It was hard to mow around trees and land scape as you had to use as just a push mower and on an uneven yard it was hard to push. I did return it with no problems. Might work for a younger person to fast foe me.

I've absolutely abused this machine and it keeps working for me! I unfortunately don't have a shed currently and the mower sits outside year round. I have a small sheet of plastic that I cover the engine with when it it's being stored. Every time I go to use it , I do some simple things like check the oils smell, color and level and check the gasoline (empty if it's winter) and discount the air filter and knock it out on the curb to clean the filter. This will be going on the third year of ownership and I swear the Scouts Honor, this lawn mower fires up first pull . My one and only complaint is that the grass bag isn't Dog proof 🤣 Hoping They send me a replacement for this amazing and truthful review!!!

So far, I'm loving it! The first one shipped had a bent handle, but the return & replace process was seamless and pain-free, and my second mower was perfect. Assembly was very easy! I was wondering about the speed because I'd seen several comments about it being too fast, but I actually could go a little faster. I love that the self-propulsion is so easy to engage/disengage. Also, I've had trouble with clogging mulchers in the past, but this one if great!

Lawnmower performs it's job perfectly, and made short work of some very tall grass. It didn't bog down or die even once, and it's actually more powerful than I thought it would be. It does everything it's advertised to do, and I'm very happy with this purchase!

Great price and lawnmower. The only complaint is it's rear wheel drive goes way too fast.
