“Super strong”? “Heavy duty”? I don’t think so!

I was surprised how flimsy these plates are. They seem like a standard thin paper plate…even with 3-4 plates together, they do not hold up to much other than a sandwich or piece of cake. I certainly would not consider these plates to be heavy duty. I was disappointed.

Affordable way to do less dishes

The short answer is at home and at camp I always have a large supply of these plates. Probably the most used item in the house. I have paper rules in my house. If you want to use paper so you don’t have to do dishes these plates are used for snacks like chips, fruits any thing mostly dry, light weight and require minimum cutting. They can be used while standing if you only have lightweight foods and minimal wind. We have paper plate holders for them if it’s a formal setting or windy. If you have just a simple sandwich like PB&J use a napkin only, no plate needed. If you have a steak get the heavier duty plate that stands up to juice and cutting. The final rule is if you’re having a pastry that comes in a wrapper - the wrapper is your plate, don’t waste my paper plates.

Heavy-duty paper plates

I buy these all the time to make sure that we never run out of them. With my husband and visiting relatives like my two sons and my grandchildren, as well as our constantly-hungry cats, we go through them fairly quickly. They’re not too flimsy for sandwiches or cans of tuna for the cats, and it sure is nice to cut down on dishwashing regular plates.

Save money with this cost-effective paper plate.

The super strong heavy duty paper plates, 9" (600 ct.) are the best value at 4 cents per plate compared to over 10 cents per plate for many of the competitive brands. Also, these are paper plates, not styrofoam, so they are not brittle and they are made of a biodegradable material. I recommend them as a cheap alternative for quick and easy to washing dishes or more costly disposable plates.

Useful paper plates.

Multi use for us. Use every breakfast and simple meals. Also use like a cutting board to cut up/prep raw veggies to cook. Do need to switch out plates if cutting up a lot, because knife will cut into the plate some. Use over plates of food in microwave to prevent spatters.

The strongest, heaviest, "lightweight" paper plate

The strongest, heaviest, "lightweight" paper plates I have found. We use these several times per day for all things you'd use a lightweight plate for but are WAYYYY stronger. They are my everyday, go-to, heavyweight - lightweight paper plates and the Sam's price is right. I Highly recommend these plates

Very Handy Plates

We are big fans of these paper plates and have been buying them for years. The name is a joke as they are far from super strong. They are a very light duty, thin paper plate but they work great in a wicker or plastic paper plate holder. The plate holder gives the plates enough strength that you can eat off of them. .We use them for bowl or plate covers in the microwave, spoon holders by the coffee pot, or any other project where you need a plate shaped back up product. They are very cheap and handy to have in your kitchen. They are great to heat up non liquid items in the microwave or any use where you need a light duty cover or plate. I personally use at least 10 of them a day.

Excellent bargain

I needed something to use for my elderly mother's any snacks. These are coated and plentiful so I wasn't always returning to the store to purchase more. An excellent bargain. I actually kept track and it took us 6 months almost to the day to use an entire package, and that's with some heavy usage.

They might surprise you!

So when I bought these plates I expected regular flimsy one ply paper plates, but to my surprise they are coated on the top. Of course if you are having a heavy meal the won’t do the trick but they work great for snacking and sandwiches and crafts for the littles.
