Recently purchased plates are so heavily coated, I'm tearing plates trying to separate them from one another. This happens from time to time, LOVE these plates for safe microwave cooking for years now, but this batch is almost totally glued together....factory adjustment?

Have bought paper plates from Sam's Club for decades. We were caught short recently and bought from elsewhere. I didn't know that Quality meant something in paper plates. These are more robust than the other brand and I found that meant something when serving more substantial food with sauces and such. Never again will I let our stock get depleted.

I was surprised how flimsy these plates are. They seem like a standard thin paper plate…even with 3-4 plates together, they do not hold up to much other than a sandwich or piece of cake. I certainly would not consider these plates to be heavy duty. I was disappointed.

It’s summer. I don’t like doing dishes. These have been around forever. What more can you say? The price for these come out to about .04 cents a plate. That’s a good price. And they’re pretty durable. Not durable like a regular paper plate, but I went to the dollar store to buy those plastic paper plate holders (yes, you can still buy those things and they’ve been around forever too) and these paper plates fit right into those little slots perfectly! NOW they’re durable. They don’t tear easily and they don’t soak through right away.

These are great paper plates. I have been using them for about 3 yrs & won't use any other. They are strong & have a glossy film on them which helps with food soaking into the paper. Being a PLUS member gets this heavy package delivered to my home for FREE! The only Con is that these plates tend to stick together from manufacturer... so hubby's job is to separate plates while watching tv. Then they're good to go!

We use and sometimes re-use these plates daily. Of course they are not the strongest plates you can buy, but for simple things like heating or covering something up in the microwave, they are the best. They are lightly coated so liquid does not bleed through. They also work great for the grandkids snacks.

We buy these for a quick plate to put lighter items on like, toast or an egg. We have bamboo plates for support if we’re having a sandwich. I prefer the paper over styrofoam for health reasons as we will put them in the micro. It’s a handy item which we use daily.

We are actually afraid to buy the amount that we usually buy which is 4 to 6. because of some of the reviews. So we only ordered one and then my husband opened up and they were exactly the same as what we already have because we were running out so that’s why I had to order. Been using these for years the packaging is different but the plates are the same as far as the ones we got anyway so yes I highly recommend these paper plates. I think they’re the best heavy duty plates that we’ve ever bought because I don’t like that China ones or whatever they are, those are way too expensive !

The strongest, heaviest, "lightweight" paper plates I have found. We use these several times per day for all things you'd use a lightweight plate for but are WAYYYY stronger. They are my everyday, go-to, heavyweight - lightweight paper plates and the Sam's price is right. I Highly recommend these plates

These coated plates make it so little messes don't soak through. I use a boatload of these for just about anything I put together in the kitchen. From being the cutting board for a roast, the following day for a sandwich. Reheating a slice of pizza to placing under a rack when I apply a rub on something that is going on the pellet grill. They save a lot of the rub that would be just wasted otherwise. a stack of 600 saves my from having to run to the store every 2 weeks.
