Unlike other automatic dispensers that I've owned in the past, this one can run off either battery or electricity (cord not included). It also holds much more than what I'm used to which is great because I don't have to fill it up nearly as often. Another thing that I really like about it is that it doesn't dispense too much (less waste) or too little. I'd definitely recommend Alpine if you're in the market for a great quality, dependable, automatic dispenser!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use this as a soap dispenser instead of hand sanitizer dispenser. Easy enough to put together and convenient. It has a window to put the logo but is should have another window to show the level of soap left so I can know when to refill it before it runs out. I think the green light turns red when there is a low battery but nothing to tell when dispenser is almost empty. I like the drip tray to keep soap off the floor but I wish there was an off and on switch so I can clean the tray without taking it apart. I wish there was a place to keep the key so I wouldn't get lost.

My guests were often annoyed with this practice as they often had items in their hands and had to fumble with the bottle of sanitizer. I would give it 5 stars but the directions do not say which type of sanitizer to use to make foam. We used hand sanitizer and it comes out as gel, not foam. It is very easy to install, easy to fill (the lid is attached so no need to set it down) and runs off 4 C batteries. It also has a DC port on the side. There is a convenient on/off switch on the side. I

With the pandemic we are in, this dispenser is great to put by the door so those coming in or out can sanitize! Love that I have a choice that these dispensers can be wall mounted if I so desire.
