This is the absolute best tasting coffee I have ever had ! I will never buy another home delivered coffee ever !! The flavor is rich and smooth, very robust and eye awakening ! The smell, from just opening the bag... wow. The best part of my morning is to smell it making and then sitting down and drinking in the greatness ! Thank you...thank you ....

I've been a fan of Death Wish for a long time, but I'm now rediscovering it's revolutionary flavor profile as I experiment with the cold brew process. I course grind the whole beans and let them brew in a pot of cold, filtered water overnight. And once I taste that smooth, deep and dark-noted cherry/chocolate rush of intense flavor, I know there's just no going back to other coffees. You think dark roasted coffee, you think burnt, heavy flavor, with an ashy, dirty aftertaste. But that's not the case here. This is dark-roasted coffee done right. You can taste the slow roast in the beans, and the perfection in the process is evident. Death Wish is literally a coffee where, once purchased, you know where that extra money went. Coffee is one of those things for me where, if I'm going to drink it, I'm going to drink the best. That's Death Wish. Designed for the working man, but also for the thinker, the intellectual. Its stimulating properties have no equal.

This coffee is by far the best tasting coffee since my Military days. It doesn't leave me jittery either, or heartburn like other so called strong coffees. I love this, no I am IN Love with this coffee. Thank you for summoning the caffeine Specters to aide you in this magnificent creation. You all are TRULY artists. I ordered it on a lark, seeing one of my friends drinking it. It smelled so dark and I was not up for bitter coffee, I was terrified... But when I took my first sip, it was glorious! It's bold and dark, but not overpoweringly bitter or oppressive with it's darkness. It's like a comfy, warm blanket of darkness that coaxes you into your day, letting you know things will be alright. This is probably the least bitter, dark coffee that I've ever had! I've since spread the love and introduced my other friends to it giving them the fair warning that it smells darker than it tastes. Worth every penny <3

Wide eyed & with such delight I found myself staring down at my first & newly acquired shipment of Death Wish Dark Roast (wait for it).....5LB BAG! - that is - SINGULAR EXTRA LARGE BAG of intoxicating liquid gold! I honestly don't even want to open it. Preserving it for the time being in all its glory (it's a difficult choice). I kinda want to take my BIG bag on over to the local Sprouts just for bragging rights but that may just be too mean since that's where I used to cop my daily dose of greatness. Too bad there's is just not that big. Oh yeah and thank you for the metal bag clip & sticker! Awesome :)

Good-tasting coffee that is rated at 3/5 only because of its price point, which is unfortunately too high compared to similar-tasting coffees available locally, and I'm hardly in a cosmopolitan wonderland of exceptional coffees. To a lesser extent my review is affected by what I'd call an overly aggressive marketing push. I like your coffee, but kindly refrain from trying to sell me camouflage hats (?).

In this season of Thanksgiving we thought it appropriate to talk about the things we are thankful for over our morning coffee. We are truly grateful to have found Death Wish Coffee Company! The wonderfully smooth coffee, with the kick we seem to need more and more, has been a real blessing. No bitterness and no acid stomach! The human service and friendliness that we receive from Death Wish marks them as a company to continue to do business with. The fast shipping and not the least the beautiful vessels from which we enjoy our caffeine are things that we love and are grateful for. If you have not taken the opportunity to treat yourself to the wonderful offerings of the Death Wish Coffee Company may we suggest that you pamper yourself and do so. What a treat!

Had my first cup a few months back, and all I can say is wow! So smooth and flavorful. Even tastes great after sitting in room temperature for 30 minutes! That's saying something. Flavors I pick up in Death Wish are dark chocolate, cherry, vanilla drizzle and a slight hint of almond. Valhalla Java is just as delicious, even with the different flavors. Valhalla's probably one of the most complex coffees I've ever had on the basis of flavor. Fruity, with hints of apple, pear, some guava along with some white chocolate and caramel overtones. Just amazing!! Not only is the coffee the best you will ever have hands down, how the company operates is just as awesome!! Very open to suggestions from customers, even for a recipe idea. That is a rare thing nowadays. Death Wish Coffee, keep doing what you are doing! You got a good thing going. Cheers! Ps. Can't wait to try the Barrel Blend! Yum-o!!

Bought this coffee for my wife. Sense i am not a big coffee drinker and my wife has trouble waking up in the morning even with her coffee. After trying this i stared drinking more coffee and my wife has no trouble waking up and staying awake all day. Death Wish has also become her new all time Favorite coffee.

I am not a Starbucks fan I find it to be bitter. After hearing about this on the Drew and Mark podcast I thought I would give it a try. So I ordered a bag of Death Wish and a bag of Valhalla Jaba. I am sure glad I did I finally have found a coffe I can say I love, kicks me in the but so I can get going in the morning. I have been drinking coffe for 50 years so I am not a trender just a man who loves a great cup of coffe. Both coffe's are great and I am going to recommend to all my coffe drinking friends. Next up K cups.
