I don't know for sure but the problem could be the coffee machine some people are using. I have a DeLonghi Magnifica XS and it makes a ridiculously strong cup of coffee with using just store bought beans. With Death Wish coffee beans it makes an even stronger cup. Just my input, not trying to bash anyone. I'm glad I invested in a higher end machine. (:

So a wise bearded man once told me of this here coffee. Thought he was a real wis guy mafia style. So I bought some and made it extra strong the first time. I love it. It has been love at first since ever since. Let's just say if a bear was between me and my last bag I may have a new bear skin rug. Sorry not sorry. Keep up the awesome work

I've been drinking Death Wish Dark Roast Coffee for a few years now and I can NEVER go back to F...Fol...Folg... You get the point. I especially love it prepared via French Press. The low acidity also helps me not get an upset stomach when taking my daily vitamins, which I learned was linked to my cheaper coffee when my girl researched and found Death Wish Coffee for me.

Tried this dark roast coffee(5lb. Bag) for first time in July and it’s potent. I don’t drink coffee every day so I don’t have a high tolerance to caffeine. This stuff keeps me up and is welcome for my midnight work shifts. I just ordered 10lbs. of medium roast to try next!

Boy oh boy was I really skeptical about the self-proclaimed"World's Strongest Coffee". Mama Mia, what a title to uphold. Luckily for me, my family bought me a Death Wish Coffee package with a beanie, sticker (gently and lovingly placed on my laptop), and a 12 oz back of DW Coffee for Christmas. Usually I need to have a 1.5/1 coffee to water ratio to get the robustness and darkness I want. I did a simple 1 to 1 coffee to water ratio for this, and was blown away. It has infinitely more caffeine than any dark roast I've tasted, and is bolder than how I usually brew it with the dark roasts I used to buy. If anything I use less, because one scoop is enough as opposed to my old scooping habits. For purely utilitarian purposes this coffee is strong and enough to get me through 12 hour shifts. Taste wise? Out of this world. I'm proud that I live practically in the back yard of this fine establishment. This is simply the best coffee I've ever had. #papabless #blessup

I'll be a long time buyer. I try a lot of different coffees. Some I'll buy again and some I won't. Death Wish is definitely at the top of the buy again list. It's a good strong coffee that has some taste to it, doesn't leave a bitter aftertaste and doesn't give me headaches. Those are huge plus' to me when it comes to coffee. The caffeine content is a good level as well. Going to try the Valhalla next time I order

I love this coffee. It will definitely give you a boost that lasts for hours. I normally drink 2 espresso shots before bed and I have no problems falling asleep, however after drinking 2 espresso shots of Death Wish Coffee I couldn't fall asleep for a while so I caught up on some household chores. It definitely makes you more productive and it tastes great. I only wish I had received a few more stickers so that I could place on all my cars and let everyone know about your coffee.

I love this coffee more than any other brand. I've tried buying it from retailers and don't get half the customer service experience. I have learned my lesson. Buy the world's greatest coffee from the worlds greatest customer service team. As for the coffee itself, the dark roast is bold with a flavor depth that keeps me coming back for more. Each sip is invigorating to the body and the soul. I bought whole bean dark roast so I can see if the bold and smooth flavor will translate over when used as a cold brew. The experiment is sitting in the fridge.

I'm the"screw Starbucks, I'm never going back" sort of girl. You've turned me into this monster, who refuses to accept a blend other than that of the Deathwish. I laugh in the face of Dunkin Donuts and those who try any other than Deathwish. I say - wow, what was I? Why haven't I started sooner? On top of this, I'm addicted. Anxiety ensues when I'm nearing the end of the bag; all of a sudden waking up the next day becomes a chore. I went from a humble 1lb bag, to 2 lb bags per month, to"that's not enough, we need more!" as I quickly mouse over the 5lb bag option and"add to cart".
