"The strongest coffee in the world" because you recommend 2.5 tablespoon of coffee for every 6 ounces of water. All my other coffees are 2 to 6. Your ratio of water to coffee dose is 15.4:1. Everybody else is 18:1. My preference is 30:1 and when I made a cup at that ratio is was very good compared to my other favorites. Typical notes of chocolate with a slight charcoal edge, excellent finish with no astringency that I get from high end coffees like Red Rooster, Stumptown, and JBC.

This is a very good coffee, but it's not quite as rich as I had hoped for. This is the first time I've ordered it, so I'll order it once more before I decide whether to make it my every day coffee. I also didn't notice a bigger "caffeine kick" than my standard brew - seems to be on par with what I've been making each day.

Excellent coffee, as per usual. The only issue that I have is why is it that shipping to a street address is free but to a USPS PO Box is not, when you are shipping USPS priority mail anyway? I have an issue with porch pirates so I prefer getting my mail at my PO box instead of at my house.

I've been drinking Death Wish coffee for at least 8 years now. There is nothing else that comes close to the fantastic taste or the strength of it. Well...almost nothing. Having been a DDG (nick-named 'tin cans' because they were/are the smallest war ships and at sea they floated around like a tin can on the water, literally!) sailor in the USN '80-'83, I was a radarman, and often sitting and watching a radar for hours on end could really get boring and make one extremely sleepy, so, hence Navy coffee...if you've heard the term 'you can stand a spoon in it' when talking about coffee, Navy coffee was that. It was strong coffee and it did the trick of waking one up, *BUT*, it was nasty tasting stuff! Death Wish coffee is even stronger than the old Navy coffee I used to drink, and the taste is amazingly good. I wish that the Navy had had Death Wish coffee when I was on the ship, I'd have been able to stare at that radar screen for hours with no problem whatsoever! The only bad thing about that would have been that during the time we were ever underway, it was usually 6 on - 6 off, meaning we spent 6 hours on watch (on the radar) then 6 hours off (we could sleep, or just do whatever we felt like doing, which ain't much when one is on a DDG, heh)...if I'd drank Death Wish during the 6 hours on watch...I'd never have gone to sleep during the 6 hours off to get some rest! This stuff really, honestly is a buzz-making coffee. If you really like to wake up in the morning, this is the coffee to drink. The taste alone is almost enough to get it anyway, it's that good. I live on a disability check now due to work related injuries, and the OL does too, and things like a fancy coffee are a little hard for us to keep ourselves in, but as far as she and I are concerned, this coffee is more than justifiable in our minds to buy and drink exclusively (unless things get tight once in a while, but that's when you *really* find out that Death Wish is the *only* coffee you want to drink after having to use 'something else' for a few days or a week!). Thank you Death Wish for coming into existence years ago for me and being and doing what you do best!!

I'm a school bus driver and not a morning person. My mornings start VERY early before the sun EARLY! This stuff is my saving grace it's strong but so so smooth and delicious I actually drink it black because I genuinely enjoy the flavor! No bitter after taste never tastes weird or burnt. From a not so morning person with a job that is vital to have precise focus I thank you!

This is my first time trying death wish coffee & it was worth the money spent. Im loveing the strong aroma & great taste of this whole bean dark roast <3 started using less cream&sugar cuz this coffee is enjoyable on its own you can taste the sweet hints of dark chocolate & cherries. Unfortunately tho its the best coffee I've ever tried the caffeine level to me is like every other cup of coffee just not on my level !!!

On a whim, I bought a pound! You sent me a sticker and bandana with it! We rocked Christmas from 5 p.m. the 25th until December 26th 5:00 a.m. Everyone loved your coffee. Somewhere are photos of me wearing the bandana like a pirate all night! I had not had coffee for along time, but this brand is so good, I could not resist. Now I am buying more! I have never had a bad cup of Death Wish, regardless of brewing method. The seasonal Barrel Brand roasts are a family favorite, the Cauldron Aged Pumpkin is a daily fall favorite every afternoon, and the original and Valhalla roasts are consistently satisfying. Coffee is one of my favorite food groups, along with bacon and bourbon. Death Wish is at the top of a very short list of exceptional coffees I will serve to guests.

You ever seen Highlander? You know what happens when they undergo the Quickening, absorbing the power of their slain opponent? That's the same effect you'll receive with this coffee. I'm a writer. I work from home. Great gig, but halfway through the day, I usually hit an afternoon slump that no amount of caffeine can fight against. If you drink this coffee, you won't regret it. Be wary if you own carpets, though -- I accidentally set mine on fire going to answer the door.

I had to buy myself a glass milk jug to keep a batch of cold brew on hand. I used some of the patches and stickers to decorate my jug. Love the coffee and the swag that comes with it.
