Perfect if you use them for, you know, espresso, but also makes the roast approachable for any method, for example you can really taste the caramel, cherry and chocolate via a french or drip method. Either way, if you want to have a new favorite from Death Wish, try this roast.

I never write reviews but this is a product worthy of it's 5 star ratings. You'll find strong coffee here and there, great tasting coffee every now and then, but death wish is the total package. Pound-for-pound it's far and away the best coffee I've ever had, both in terms of strength and taste. Great branding too. I'll be a life-long customer for sure.

Just got my order a few days ago, and must say that it is without a doubt a really good blend. Order was well packed and arrived quicker than expected, even for a three day holiday weekend. The Death Wish Brand is strong yet mellow with no bitter aftertaste. It does what it says, picks you up and doesn't drop off quickly. It is going to be my go to pick me up for those early mornings. The Valhalla Java blend is so smooth it should be illegal. Can't wait to try the Barrel Brand... The Hand Grinder is really smooth and consistent, a real bonus over my electric grinder. As a hand grinder, being my first one, it is really easy. My son loves grinding the beans for me (he loves the smell, future coffee head). The mugs are quality, look great and and hold the heat great. Like I said, am looking forward to the Barrel blend once its back on.

Since I first tried Death Wish a couple years ago I haven't purchased a different brand. I'll admit, I am a sucker for alternative marketing like Dollar Shave Club and others, but this product is why I've kept a subscription all these years. I recently started ordering whole bean in addition to ground because I got a really nice espresso machine. Without a doubt the best coffee on the market. I love the sleek design of the bag and the personality that the coffee portrays. The brew is super dark and deliciously strong. Every sip delivers a powerful bite and then comes back with a smooth finish. This is the only coffee that gives me enough of a kick to stay energized all throughout the day. One good mug is all it takes. I've had lots and different brands and varieties of coffees, but Death Wish blows them all out of the water. This is the most perfect blend of beans ever created. Honestly, this coffee is the reason I was able to get through both midterms and finals. It's REALLY strong and gets the job done easily; pulling an all-nighter for a huge test? Get off of work at 3am and have to go to classes immediately after? Easy peasy, I brew up a few cups, drink it down, and I'm good to go for the rest of the day. This coffee has saved my butt more times than I could admit.

Just finished my first cup of Death Wish and all I can say is wow! Definitely worth it. Great taste and caffeine fix, just what I was looking for. I was skeptical at first since it stated it was the strongest coffee and everyone can make such claims but this coffee can back up that claim without a doubt.

Best coffee I have ever had. Tried it when we ran out 2 years ago and never looked back. Customer service is wonderful to work with. Never had a problem wit anyone I talked to. If you try the DARK ROAST nothing will compare anywhere. When you taste the best, the rest just not good enough.

This is some good, strong coffee. I normally drink most coffee black, but Death Wish is a real kick in the gonads due to its sheer strength. I've found it extremely hard to drink black because of this, but don't let that fool you into thinking it detracts from the overall quality of the coffee. It's fantastic, and going through their website is actually cheaper than buying it at a box store. Cut out the middle man and get some real good coffee directly through them!
