Am drinking my first ever cup and WOW!!! I was expecting a harsh, bitter flavor but boy was I wrong!!! This coffee has a full, deep, oh so ever smooth flavor!!! I have tried every coffee out there that CLAIMS to be the boldest, baddest, bestest ever only to hang my head in sorrow, and slip away to disappointment land, until now. I truly have found the perfect cup!!! I MUST have a dark, deep roasted cup of coffee in the morning, it is a necessity of life!!! I still cant get over the lack of bitterness, tis a marvel, I tells ya, a true marvel !!! Thanks Death Wish Coffee for living up to your hype and being the BOLDEST, BADDEST, BESTEST dark roasted coffee EVER!!!! Death will come slowly as I savor every amazing drop!!!

Since I first tried Death Wish a couple years ago I haven't purchased a different brand. I'll admit, I am a sucker for alternative marketing like Dollar Shave Club and others, but this product is why I've kept a subscription all these years. I recently started ordering whole bean in addition to ground because I got a really nice espresso machine. The coffee I have every day is better by far than any Starbucks or Coffee Bean or any I've had. Thank you; keep up the good work guys! -Mason

Excellent in all areas. I ordered the coffee, blinked my eyes and the package was delivered. Professional packaging, quality labels, exterior box looks perfect. The coffee is the best I gave ever eaten. There will be many more orders and I will spread the word. Death wish coffee is the best there is.

Tried the pods for my kuerig first, was not impressed. The company asked me to try the coffee beans, I did. What an absolute difference. The coffee was smooth, but very intense - which is exactly like I like my coffee. Really delicious! Strong, but not bitter in the slightest. Very, very good coffee. Highly recommend!

I started with Dark Roast coffee with my first subscription in 2016, Last year I decided to change to the Medium Roast when it became available for subscribers. Recently I returned to the Dark Roast because it seems to give me more of that kick in the ass I need - so far so good. I love Death Wish coffee, especially the Dark Side.

My Death Wish prescription--er, *subscription*--has fueled me through many a 12-hour nursing shift, through COVID and beyond. It's my favorite roast ever, and this is coming from someone who cut their teeth on the mid-nineties Seattle coffee scene. Truly excellent!

I was overall unimpressed with this coffee. I appreciate that the company makes an effort to source fair trade and organic/non-GMO coffee beans, but am underwhelmed by the smoky, burnt flavor and feeling that this coffee is no"stronger" than a typical cup of whole bean or ground coffee. I have tried several different types of packaged whole bean and ground coffees, as well as various flavor profiles and roasts and I would not purchase this coffee again. Even though the taste can be atered by adding some monk fruit or stevia, as far as the caffeine content of"the world's strong whole bean coffee" is concerned, I did not feel (after consuming) that this coffee was any stronger or provided any more energy/kick/pick-me-up than I get from the Peets or Gevalia coffee I currently have.

My girlfriend got me a bunch of merch that I loved and also got me the Death Wish/Valhalla coffee bundle with it for my birthday. The Valhalla Java was amazing as expected but for some reason the Death Wish left a funny and bit of a bitter taste in my mouth... I don't know if it was because of using my regular brewing machine or if it was a bad batch or something but I did the same with the Valhalla and it turned out great. Either way great products over all and I intend on giving the Death Wish coffee another chance and will for sure buy more of the Valhalla Java in the future. Ill change to 5 stars and edit my review later if the Death Wish is better the second time around.

As a proud Sailor I've had my fair share of sludge, burnt grounds and brownish water but Death Wish puts my entire career of coffee consumption to shame. This is hands down the best coffee I have ever tasted. It leaves me craving more. The best description would be rich bold flavor that makes you want to go to sleep just so you can get up and brew a cup! Don't think twice! BUY IT NOW!
