First, let me say that these are not ciabatta. They are pretty decent rolls, however. They are a nice size for sandwiches and hamburgers. And a good price for eight of 'em. They freeze nicely. I took one star off because they are never uniformly baked. It is not uncommon for some to be baked perfectly and others too light. Even in the photo you can see the inconsistency. Doesn't stop me from buying them.

When these are done right, they're very tasty, although a whole roll has to be as much in quantity as at least two pieces of sandwich bread, so if you are trying to limit carbs, skip this item altogether. (If you have a family member or pet who is happy to eat half of your roll, you might be okay.) It's not always possible to find ones that haven't either been over- or under-baked. As another reviewer pointed out, they will get moldy fairly quickly, especially in humid weather, so we put at least half the package in a freezer bag and store them until we want them.

These rolls are exceptional, especially if you can get a bag when they leave the bakery. Sometimes they are warm! These are so good. When I get them home, I put them in individual baggies and then put 4 rolls in a large, zip-lock freezer bag. They freeze beautifully. They can be defrosted on the counter or heated in the oven for about 5 minutes and they are as good as fresh. Great for sandwiches, or just as a dinner roll. Not being cut in half keeps them fresher. Try this!
