Set up was a little complicated and it took a while to figure out how to connect it to our satellite service, but that's probably somewhat normal. We had to upgrade our receiver but once we did, the difference in the picture is amazing! Not crazy about smart TV's but we aren't planning to use that feature anyway. For what we need, this was a good buy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The picture is nice and sharp but we’ve had problems with the picture to dark. I found the online user manual a difficult to follow. For instance, it took me quite awhile to find how to control the brightness. The auto dimming control is confusing. It was only after doing a Google search about “brightness” that I found information about which settings need to be adjusted on the TV. We also wanted to use the Alexa interface, but I can’t get it to work. Finally the TV doesn’t support the Spectrum App, so I’ve lost some of my channels.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the TV about 3 weeks ago. Took a little while to figure out everything and how this TV interacts with other things attached. But the picture is just fantastic. I now pretty well understand all the settings too.

I setup the TV with ease. Light to carry. I don't use cable, but the features include a built in guide once the TV system scans for the available antenna channel for the area. The power button is under the bottom center which makes it easy to shut off when I'm rushing passed it to leave. Just push in power button and hold until it shuts off! Love this purchase!

We received this as a birthday gift and it was an upgrade from a plasma tv and WOW!! Beautiful picture! So true to life, crystal clear!! Love the smart features too. We already had Netflix, so to have a Netflix button on the remote... yes!! Awesome!! Going forward as we need to replace other tv’s, LG is our brand! Thank you!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tv was impressive enough in the store that I purchased it to be delivered, since it wouldn’t fit in my sedan. Delivery took about a week, but arrived fine. Pros: good picture, adequate sound, good viewing angles, looks sleek and slim,. Cons: inadequate or missing set up instructions, confusing menu (have to guess how to get to some settings), inability to add some paid-for applications, such as MLB, paid streaming channels like FX, Discovery, Fox now, etc. cannot add Roku. The picture really improves if you turn off power saving mode. Wish it were easier to change display scheme (cinema, vivid, standard, etc) All in all, good device for the money. Would likely purchase again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great picture quality, great customization features for both picture and sound. Nice clean look with minimal edging. Easy to use smart TV features. It would be great if the standard remote had some back lighting, but then the optional magic remote would with audio input and point and click would likely be a good choice. I am considering looking into that.

My son loves it! His other TV quit and I replaced it with this one. The picture is great and when using Netflix's it's Awesome. The movies are shown in 4K. He mainly uses it for his PS4. Sound quality is great for his room. I'm very happy with this purchase and we will purchase another one soon.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this TV as a replacement for my previous LG 55" which had 3D capability. I will miss not having 3D, and have a library of DVDs that are 3D and 12 pairs of 3D glasses that will be useless to me, but it is, what it is. Seems to have a decent enough picture and audio quality. It took me a while to get the TV to communicate with Alexa, but once I beat that Ho into submission, all is working fine. :)
