I realize that there are probably more expensive and probably better TV's on the market, but this is by far the best television I have ever owned. The picture quality is similar to looking out a clean window, and to be truthful it takes some getting used to but in a good way. I have gone back and watched old movies and its like seeing them in a new way. I love this tv.

The volume limiting feature for excessive loud shows or commercials is a welcome feature addition our other TV does not offer. Great work LG!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Finally upgraded from our old HD TV and I must say, we are loving it. I expected some improvement in picture quality but, WOW! I was not expecting the sound quality improvement we have experienced. This television is amazing! The picture is so sharp and clear; it almost looks 3D! The colors are so vivid. We are also really enjoying this TV's "smarts". Not having to access a separate device to stream content is super convenient. If you are looking for a new television, you can not go wrong with this choice. I highly recommend.

The tv works good, but no matter what I do I can not get the picture light enough. I go through vivid to movies etc. none of the pre settings gets it light enough. No manual settings. Very disappointing. Also the picture is always blurry. On antenna or on cable. My wife wants to return it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this specifically for the small footprint of the feet. Everyone else was too wide for the size 50”. It fits perfectally on the mantle and is much more realistic picture than previous tv. It also has great sound 2 20 watt speakers( most were 10).

I was so happy with it that I followed up with the purchase of an LG Magic Remote to make my LG experience complete. Would recommend this LG 4K very highly.

The person had to be a "newby" and not experienced as he was unable to help me correct the issue. So I called our Spectrum/Charter support and the lady walked me through, step by step and fixed the issue in just a few minutes. We love the new TV. Thank You!

Had one issue with connecting my current surround system but it was just a matter of putting connection in wrong port and one call solved very quickly. Love using Netflix and.... no Soundbar needed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have this TV about a month since the installation and I have some reservations, I have done everying I knew how to utilize close captioning and I cannot get it to work. I am also disappointed in the contrast, I expected more distinction of depth in colors and the perception of depth as in distances. It looks flat. If I can get these couple things ironed out, the tv would be excellent!
