[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Finally upgraded from our old HD TV and I must say, we are loving it. I expected some improvement in picture quality but, WOW! I was not expecting the sound quality improvement we have experienced. This television is amazing! The picture is so sharp and clear; it almost looks 3D! The colors are so vivid. We are also really enjoying this TV's "smarts". Not having to access a separate device to stream content is super convenient. If you are looking for a new television, you can not go wrong with this choice. I highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used for a couple of weeks now and provides good display on either cable box or wifi. Better than average viewing angle. Some issues with disconnects on 5GHz wifi usually in the evenings, but I think that may be because it's quite a ways from my router/wifi unit.

I do have another LG tv that is smaller, but figured if that picture was good the 55" would be equal. After setting it up I was not completely pleased. The picture was not very bright and no matter what I did I could not improve it. After a couple of days I went back through the settings and saw a Power Saver setting which was on. Once I turned it off the picture improved dramatically. I am now a happy customer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great video and sound. My favorite feature is the ability to access the apps that were on the roku now on the tv. That is one less remote to try and find or wrestle away from from strong children. Since the television is still new they have not yet figured it out so the power of what we watch is truly my choice I still lose that battle but at least the picture is so crisp I don’t need my glasses if I have forgotten where they are.

I love this TV. I got it to cut the cord on my cable. I'm using an indoor antenna which gets several channels very clearly. Also I have Internet and use the included LG Channel + app. which gets over a 100 channels. So I'm very happy and saving a bundle.

Also the ThinQ capabilities is amazing you don’t need to keep checking or waiting for the beep... just in Your phone your can get the alert.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After about a month of use, we are very happy with this TV and its features! Excellent picture, easy to set up, handy remote. All four HDMI inputs and the optical audio output are in use, as are the phono plug inputs from a vintage VCR. The USB port is also in use to power a small cooling fan for the TV and related electronics which are all in a non-vented wall recess alcove. Plus, the price point was very attractive. We are 100% satisfied!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Has terrific features. Netflix,Prime,Hulu etc. You can't go wrong with this flat screen in my opinion. Sound is decent and you can purchase a upgraded remote if you are incined too. Nice looking with a shiny bezel.

The sound is a little weird at times; seems too low sometimes but maybe that's just me needing to get used to the unit. The TV has turned on at night by itself a couple of times, which is weird, but it auto-updated this morning so maybe that will stop.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had a lot of difficulty in trying to set up the picture to optimize the color, contrast, sharpness & tint. There were no instructions provided whatsoever. I am an engineer by education & it took many iterations to get the picture quality to where it was acceptable. Probably would not buy LG again!
