[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was in the market for a second TV for my bedroom, settle on LG following a visit to a local store where I had an opportunity to view various LG TVs. This particular 50UK6500 was on sale and a perfect fit for my bedroom. The design is very attractive and the ease of which one is able to set things up is a breeze.The picture is not as brilliant as others but for the price I paid for the TV, this is an excellent TV. The audio quality of this TV is superb in my opinion, contrary to most LCDs one can get by without a sound bar or surround speakers. Best I've seen so far when it comes to audio quality on an LCD.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the unit but was quite upset when I found out that I was going to have to buy a dongle to set up Netflix and Amazon. The proper dongle is not readily available in this are and none of the paperwork specified the correct dongle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had the set for 5 months. Only one problem so far and it wasn't the TV it was the batteries in the remote. They only lasted 2 months. There is a design flaw in the set as the legs that come with the set are inadequate and won't fit on a medium sized stand. I had to purchase a separate stand to mount it to as I couldn't mount it on the wall. The legs that come with the set are unsafe as the set can tip very easily. This isn't only an LG problem as I find that most of the new sets use similar legs. The set has a very good picture and very good sound. I purchased an external sound bar which I returned as the set gives me as good or better than the bar.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for the bedroom. The picture is decent, the motion refresh rate is good. the remote sucks, so hard to do simple task such as signing in to various content providers. The sound is crummy and no external speaker option, bad buy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the TV because it seemed like a good alternative from a standard tv that I was chromecasting all my favorite streaming channels. It had high reviews and for the price, it was a steal. It was sold as an "easy to add tabs" for the channels you like to watch. So far, every channel that I've wanted to add besides, Amazon Prime, Netflix and Showtime isn't compatible with the tv browser. The picture is nice for the channels that are set in the tv, but anything I chromecast (which seems to be easier than adding to the tv) is pixelated and colorless. For someone that likes all the built in features, it's a good tv. For me.. unless I figure out how to get what I want, it is going back.

This tv is not recognizing wired lan connection. The wireless is good. I have replaced the cable, and the internet company provided a new router. Have anyone resolved this issue? Btw i have changed also the cable to different ports and tested with my PC to have connectivity.

I ended up with a brand new home and with my son’s help got my new LG TV. The picture clarity is fantastic and having all the smart features is great. My only disappointment is that the remote isn’t as user friendly as the second TV, but it is easy to figure out.

Was looking for a smaller tv that had a lot of features as the bigger one and this was it. Plan on ordering the magic remote for it. I would have paid extra for the tv if it was included. Not sure if I Like the chime noise it makes when you turn it on or off. Have not figured out if I can disable that. Overall great tv set
