A Very Satisfied Customer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are very pleased with this LG TV, because of easy set-up, excellent picture and sound. Even though it is used in a rural setting with only an antenna, it brings in many more channels than the one it replaced.

This TV is just a piece of trash and LG don’t care

Just like the other person I got the TV from Costco in 2019 and within two years there is no display there is videos out on YouTube that shows a short in some board And a board that could be fixed by tape on ribbon cable come on LG is this your reliability?

Bad then broke

I bought this TV just over a year ago (just outside of warranty of course), and it was awful. I say "awful" because its app selection was terrible, its UI was confusing, and the way it displayed dark scenes was absolute garbage. I say "was" because the display stopped working basically right as it exited warranty. Not only that, I can't get a hold of anyone at support, and the self-help troubleshooting suggestions are patronizingly obvious. Will never be buying an LG TV again.

Decent TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased as a 2nd TV for 2nd home. I like the picture but it has a weird coloring when watching at night in the darker room where the screen is split dark and light when going from show to commercial. Once picture is on you cannot tell. Just wondering if it is the TV or something may be wrong. Glad there is a 2 year warranty standard

A great improvemt over the 1080p

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased two, a 43 & a 55 UK6500AUA a couple months apart at Costco that replaced 2 Sony HD 1080p TV's, a 32 & 40 inch and I also removed my 2 Roku 3's that weren't 4K & ethernet connected & use the LG apps for the networks that offer 4K that I subscribe to. The LG upscaling improves the HD resolution of the 1080 somewhat nicely unless the original was really old like 480 from TCM or such, but it is improved. I get 4K streams from several of the LG apps, and satellite TV 4K channels (3) off the HDMI/2 ARC. Also, note, the Bluetooth is a one way INPUT from your phone, NOT OUTPUT to headphones or a speaker. That’s not the impression I got when I read the sales info, LG! Why not bi-direction? There are no headphone outputs off these TV’s, just optical Toslink, so that means a D/A converter. I like these UK6500AUA for a crisp picture, and the 55 weighed a lot less than the old 40” 1080. I purchased 2 Magic remotes for these since my 2 Logitech Harmony’s don’t do the motion cursor like the universal LG Magic remote does that helps with sign-in’s, WebOS searches, & other searches. Don’t know why LG doesn’t furnish these rather than the standard universal one AKB75375604? This is not like the old days when a CRT TV didn't offer upgrades for decades. Today, hardware seems to change fast, no more analog with RCA plugs, all digital w HDMI/ARC, Toslink, Wi-Fi, blue-tooth. No Betamax, VHS, 8 track tapes, cassettes, LP's, 45RPM records, reel to reel tapes, all gone:(

Great picture

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this TV up and running for about 1 month. This is TV provides a wonderful clean, clear, crisp picture. It was pretty easy to get up and running and its features are pretty easy to work with and very logical.

Terrible blacks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When the picture is bright, I've been impressed. Colors pop and picture is sharp - Does great with sports and casual cable. However, when the scene is dark the clouding on the black areas of the screen is absolutely horrible to the point where guests have asked me if the TV is broken. It's so distracting that it makes whatever you're watching less enjoyable. The only reason I am giving it 2 stars is because of the metal bezel around the screen. It's very sleek and attractive and makes the TV look expensive. Unfortunately the horrible picture outweighs the appearance of the TV itself. Please save yourself the headache and stay away from this product.

Costo calidad

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Es un TV muy bueno, solo que en el centro de la TV se observa un destello de luz griseaso, han de ser los leds, un sonido excepcional y fuerte, mejor que otras marcas, siempre he comprado la LG, tengo otro TV LG que compre hace 10 años es 3d y nunca ha fallado, excelente sonido también, 100% recomendado. En todos los TV deberían incluir el Control Magic. Hacer análisis costo beneficio para el cliente y lo deberían hacer!! La base es muy frágil, son 2 patitas de plástico,

Very nice TV for a reasonable price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was in the market for a second TV for my bedroom, settle on LG following a visit to a local store where I had an opportunity to view various LG TVs. This particular 50UK6500 was on sale and a perfect fit for my bedroom. The design is very attractive and the ease of which one is able to set things up is a breeze.The picture is not as brilliant as others but for the price I paid for the TV, this is an excellent TV. The audio quality of this TV is superb in my opinion, contrary to most LCDs one can get by without a sound bar or surround speakers. Best I've seen so far when it comes to audio quality on an LCD.

Terrible TV do not buy

Coming back to write a review because of the absolute level of garbage that a tv can’t even last 2 years. If I could rate this tv zero I would.
