Great TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had moved from the east to west coast and brought very few things with me. I ended up with a brand new home and with my son’s help got my new LG TV. The picture clarity is fantastic and having all the smart features is great. My only disappointment is that the remote isn’t as user friendly as the second TV, but it is easy to figure out.

Great features for the money!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy set up, easy to use. I like the built in Netflix, but would have liked to have HBONOW built in as well. Also a programable remote would have been helpful! Overall great features and quality for the money!

GREAT PICTURE AND FEATURES!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Two months in and I am very happy with the purchase. The picture quality is stellar! Accessing some of the features can be a bit challenging at first but once you get the hang of it you will be fine. I am still uncovering features every day. So far, I am thrilled!

Debatable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the TV because it seemed like a good alternative from a standard tv that I was chromecasting all my favorite streaming channels. It had high reviews and for the price, it was a steal. It was sold as an "easy to add tabs" for the channels you like to watch. So far, every channel that I've wanted to add besides, Amazon Prime, Netflix and Showtime isn't compatible with the tv browser. The picture is nice for the channels that are set in the tv, but anything I chromecast (which seems to be easier than adding to the tv) is pixelated and colorless. For someone that likes all the built in features, it's a good tv. For me.. unless I figure out how to get what I want, it is going back.

Great tv have to buy magic remote separately

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Why I love this tv, I am utterly ticked off i have to buy the magic remote separately in order to access some of my TVs features for paying almost 1k for this tv its a shame LG cant afford to keep their garbage standard remote for lower models and include the actual magic remote that should come with the tv.

Nice mid-grade TV option

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only had this TV a few days, so this will only be my initial observations: - Overall, a very nice mid-range TV. This model (65UK6500AUA) has a subtle metal frame which in my opinion adds a touch of class and is more interesting than the plain black frames. - Good picture out of the box, although there doesn't seem to be much documentation for all of the smartTV and general settings or usage, so I'd imagine that I can get an even better picture by fine tuning my settings - but then again I may never know if it isn't obvious how to fine tune it.That being said, I plugged in my old blu-ray player and popped in the movie Coco for the kids and it looked beautiful without much messing around with the settings. - I agree with others that it is odd that LG dedicates a lot of marketing material around their "AI" features, but then those features can't really be used out-of-the-box unless you go buy a smart remote, which in a brief search for LG smart remotes there seems to be a lot of them so it's not really clear which one should be used with this TV. Anyway, it's just awkward marketing. Chances are that I'll get accustomed to the out-of-box standard interface and skip getting the smart remote, so LG would be much wiser if they just included the AI smart remote and it would probably be a much better product impression and much better user experience. - First impression of the LG webOS interface is that it is a decent smart platform, but comes up just short of Roku's user experience in intuitiveness and available apps, but it is still better than most other smart TV interfaces. I'll still use a separate Roku box in addition to the TV.

Costo calidad

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

great picture

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the picture quality and the instant on feature compared to my old TV. Only reason I can't give an excellent rating is: despite an hour of tech support I can not get an older Visio sound bar to work with this unit.

Great Picture with One Annoyance

The TV was easy to set up, although i did have to do a lot of tweaking to get the picture to look good. There are a ton of settings. Definitely worth the price, when it went on sale. The only issue i have with it, is that when you turn it on, it keeps defaulting to my Blu-Ray player for some reason. It should be defaulting to my cable TV every time, so that's pretty annoying. So far i haven't found any settings causing that either. Aside from that annoyance, the picture is great, and it has very good sound if you need to use the TV speakers.

Not to bad

The TV overall is ok, the picture could be a little sharper and brighter with a little better color, the main issue is the lack in instruction? trying to figure out the remote is not easy, and searching the internet doesn't help much, might return it. the need better manuals.
