I noticed that it heated up more quickly than my other pans and the heat was evenly distributed. It is not too heavy. The size is good for making a meal for a family of four. It is able to go into the oven up to 400 degrees.

The ridges are pretty subtle so the grill pan is definitely better than a normal pan but still makes it so the meat sits in its oil. Pretty good for the price though.

KitchenAid's Hard Anodized Nonstick Frying Pan Set of 2 works great! Its not like an old fashioned non-stick where the surface peels off at all. My Sunday omelets slid out perfectly intact and their appearance matched their deliciousness.

So far I have used this pan to fry steak and sear shrimp and make an onion sauce for my husband. Each and every time it wipes clean beautifully! It’s a little small for my liking and I’d really love to have a lid with it, but overall, it’s a pretty decent pan!
