The flavor of the cake was good, but the little candy’s that were sprinkled on were hard like rocks. We wound up scraping off the icing because they were inedible.

Cake had buttercream icing not whipped as ordered. As well as, it wasnt decorated as ordered online . No one likes buttercream icing. It went in the trash.

Cake was delicious. It was prepared and decorated as requested and ready on time. Plus the price can’t be beat anywhere. Highly recommend McKinney Sam’s for your next celebration.

The cake was very good but I was disappointed because I ordered a marble cake and when we cut into the cake it was all a white cake. There was no marbling at all.

Nothing can beat the value of this cake. It’s delicious and cheaper than quarter sheet cakes from every other grocery store. I ordered it with marble cake and it was so moist. The buttercream frosting is really good and I normally don’t even like buttercream (I prefer whipped). I refuse to order a cake from anywhere else

Ordered my granddaughter’s and husband’s birthday cake online. Went into Sam’s to change chocolate buttercream frosting to chocolate whipped cream frosting. Woman in the bakery department made the change on her tablet. When I picked the cake up, it had vanilla whipped cream frosting.

Very impressed with the cake and the service. My message for the cake was a bit different and in kind of a code so they didn't decorate until I confirmed the lettering. The icing wasn't over sweet and I do not know if they offer a buttercream or better yet whipped icing. I highly recommend.

Tasted good; nice value. Nicely decorated. The only change I’d recommend is to improve the frosting a notch, but it was still tasty.
