The good thing is that one blade usually last me about two weeks. I would definitely recommend the product to anyone.

I have sensitive skin and this razor never irritates my skin and one blade can last quite a long time. I have recommended this to several male and female friends already.

I understand Gilette is always trying to be the latest and greatest (and they do quite well at it), but I really fail to see the difference between this product and practically any other razor I've used. Is it better than a disposable razor? Yes, absolutely. Is it better than a much cheaper, mail order alternative? I don't think so. Also, it's a little frightening when you open the package to the razor and are immediately greeted with a $5 off coupon for blades. This shows me that 1) They know you'll need them soon and 2) They are overpriced.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Gillette Fusion ProGlide is one of the premier razors on the market. It's ability to provide a close shave the first time is excellent. However it is missing the vibrating feature that its big brother has in the Gillette Fusion ProGlide Power has. It doesn't seem to handle as smooth as the GFP Power and did require a few touch up shaves. Its a good razor and does get the job done but just not the top of the line.

After hearing from a trusted source how great the Fusion ProGlide razor is, I tried it. I am not overly impressed. Barring a remarkable shave next time, which I don't foresee, I'll be going back to my simple Sensor Excel. The “glide” lives up to its name – it glides over your skin, but I thought there was way too much glide at times and not enough shave. For example, I had to repeat shaving parts of my face where significant gel had remained, leaving me to wonder why the glide didn't shave those parts the first time. And I still seem to have a few whiskers under my nose and on the neck. Yes, you don't feel the shave and that's pretty neat – I had absolutely no worries about nicks and cuts – but how much of this is due to the razor and how much to using ForMen2 quality shave cream, I don't know. I am not sure if the battery powered razor does better, but I couldn't fathom using it, since I no longer use an electric shaver, I don't see the point.

I have used the razor it is so so. I get maybe one or possibly two uses out of it before it's done. I have sort of course facial hair so not many razors work well. If there was a razor geared towards men with course facial hair that would be fantastic. As far as the shave the razor gives it is good, it does give a smooth shave. But like I said earlier I only get one or two uses out of a blade replacement. With the blades being as pricy as they are it gets very expensive replacing them every time or every other time to shave.

I figured that the 3, then 4, then 5 blades was the end of the road for innovation but I was dead wrong. The Gillette Fusion Proglide Razor with Flexball Technology is the Google of Razors. The figured out how to make shaving with a straight razor truly effortless. The Flexball Technology works like a vacuum on a rollerball. The razor pivots around the curves of your face and neck instead of me having to position my neck around the razor. My shave has never been closer, smoother or irritation free. I tried another razor that had a battery and vibrated, which was a little nicer, but this is still one of the top razors on the market. The refills are expensive, but if you completely dry the blade after each use, it will last for months. The one thing I particularly enjoy about the Gillette fusion is the single blade on the backside of the razor for the precision maintenance. I shave my entire head, face, and neck (not to mention I'm a very hairy Irishman). I used to use Headblade for my head because of the curvature, but with flexball technology, this razor glides over any curved surface easily. Now I don't have to switch back and forth. I highly recommend.

Gillette sent me a razor to try and I'm hooked! I usually shave straight out of the shower with out any shaving cream and this razor I get the smoothest face with the least effort. And rinsing the head afterwards easily cleans everything between the blades.
