I wanted to test not only the new technology in contouring to the curves of my face, but also wanted to understand the razor cartridge and the value proposition. The first shave was awesome! Buttery smooth glide. My only complaint was with the shave gel...I didn't feel it was as effective as my brush and bar. Second shave, I felt the tug of the blades on my face. This time, I compromised and used my hands to activate the gel and applied it with my brush...hoping it would stop a few ingrown hair that surfaced after my first shave. It was not a good experience and additional razor burn appeared with a vengeance. I gave it one more shot a few days later...razor cartridge was shot. No dice. I believe the new face hugging technology is great...but the cartridge is a huge issue for me. And price of those cartridges is a deal breaker.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was picked to review the Fusion ProGlide manual razor with FlexBall Technology, and I now have a whole new perspective on manual razors. I usually nic myself at least a few times each shave with my regular manual razor, and I did not have that bother with this razor. I was impressed at how easily it seemed to glide all over my face. The FlexBall is pure genius. The razor literally glides over my rough face, and leaves me with baby face. I have used this razor 3 times now, and the blades are still as fresh as when I took it out of the great packaging. I am happy and can say that I will be purchasing this for myself.

I received a Gillette Mach 3 on my 18th birthday many years ago, and have always used those razors. Recently, I decided to give some other brands a try with mixed results, and when I heard of this campaign, I jumped at the chance to try another type of razor. The Fusion was fantastic. I had one of the best shaves I can remember and it seems like the designers have really thought about everything. It is a good weight, the 5 blades help shave really close, and I really appreciate the touch up blade on the back of the razor. I'm pretty sure you just converted me to a Fusion user from now on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new Proglide came in the mail from Gilette. I used it right away, I have been a Fusion user for years. The shave was very close and like any new blade you didn't have to go over your beard more than once or twice. I didn't really notice how much the "FlexBall" handle made a difference, but the razor works well. I will continue to use this razor until the blades are gone. I still have my Fusion razor and enjoyed it. The biggest factor in which I will continue to use will probably be blade price. If your curious I would give it a try!

When I first heard the ProGlide was coming out, I was a bit skeptical on how it could be that much better than the regular Fusion. As the result,I feel less drag when cutting the hairs and I hardly get bumps since I tried. The cartridge last pretty long. I usually shave every two or three days and its been almost a month and I haven't changed it yet and they still work very well.

The design looks amazing. looks like that it will be my first time to have an easy shaving thanks to this flexball technology which will allow me to access all areas of my beard. Update: The Fusion ProGlide Razor with FlexBall handle technology that I received from the brand is amazing. I consider that I have a special beard, my beard hair grows in different directions which requires moving the razor too in different directions to have my beard shaved. With the FlexBall handle technology my shaving is now easy. Thanks to the FlexBall technology which helps me moving the razor smoothly in mostly all directions :) Update: I find something new in every time I use the Fusion ProGlide Razor with FlexBall handle technology that I received from the brand. Today was my third time to use this amazing razor, I noticed how the blades of the razor are still working very good providing both close and comfortable shaving. The hair does not trap between the blades which provide smooth shaving. Also the amazing Flexball technology which helps me moving the razor smoothly to shave all my beard. I would call it ProSmart and Glide... Thanks Gillette :)

I received this razor from Gillette. I will say its not their best, I was sadly disappointed. When I think of Gillette products I think cutting edge technology and close shave. Sadly this razor comes up short. I love the concept of the flex ball however I think the range is restricted too much. Most disappointing part were the blades weren't sharp it seemed. Not a close shave at all had to reshave :(

Hey gang, BzzAgent Glockspeed31 here and I wanted to share my past experience of a new razor I just tried out, compliments of Gillette. I opened my Gillette Fusion Proglide Razor with Flexball Handle Technology and looked at this piece of advanced tool to battle stubborn facial hair. This razor looked like something out of a science fiction movie, which is pretty neat! I lathered up my face with the shaving cream and went to work. It had been about 10 days that I last shaved, I wanted to really test out this razor. Man it slipped across my face like it was on smooth glass. All 5 blades made easy work to my thick scruff and left my face baby-bottom smooth with a single pass. This razor trimmed off (pun intended) half the time I normally spend with my regular 3 bladed razor. I guess I know what I'm giving out this coming Holiday season! Glockspeed31

I am really glad I have the opportunity to use Gillette's ProGlide Manual Razor. For quick shaves, I do like to use an electric razor. However, I used this razor and noticed I can go longer between shaves and I am using the electric razor a lot less. I love the smoothness you can only get with a manual razor. I do not notice any tugging or pulling from this razor. It also truly glides over my face. And it seems to adjust to the "nooks and crannies" of my face. The handle appears bigger and has a grip on it that is easy to hold onto and does not slip with wet hands. This razor is a must have for me!

I rotate through 2 razors brands other than Gillette. I decided to try the Gillette Proglide, since I've been using the Proglide gel. I have no issue with the razor or blades. It's just when I started looking at buying more cartridges, I realized that they are relatively more expensive. I'm not really getting a better shave with the Proglide compared to my other brands. So, Proglide is not worth the extra $. I am enamored with the snazzy look and feel, but not enough to pay more money for the system.
