Let me begin by saying that I received this product free from Gillette. I have not used a Gillette razor since I bought a Fusion ProGlide a few years ago, and have been using a Dollar Shave Club Razor for about a year. Even though I was skeptical of the new design, as it looked a bit "gimmicky", I was extremely pleased with the results. The ball allows the razor to glide in each direction over the curves of my best, and the thinner than ever blades caused the least amount of pain and irritation that I have ever had from a razor. All in all, I will be purchasing Gillette blades for a long time based on my experience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pretty pumped about trying the new Gillette Fusion Proglide Razor with the flexball handle. I have used other Gillette razors in the past and have had pretty good success with them. I typically have trouble getting a close smooth around my chin. I have tried various electric razors and several manual razors. I have had better results getting a smooth shave using the manual razors rather than the electic razors. Even when using the manual razor, it would still take several strokes to get all of the hair for a smooth shave. I was hoping that the new flexball razor would help get me a smoother shave quicker than the other razors. The flexball razor seemed to hug my face as I used it. The razor moved with the contour of my face. It glided across my face and did not tug or pull my hair. It did take a few strokes to get a completely smooth shave around my chin but it was about half of the strokes I take with other manual razors. Overall I was pleased with the shave that I got with this razor. I did not see anything overly spectacular about it versus other Gillette razors. I was getting the same shave with the flexball razor that I do with other razors with the only difference being that it took less strokes to get a smooth shave.

It glides around with the pivoting handle and contours to my face like a good razor should. Totally recommend the upgrade to anyone looking for a superior shave.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried both the Gillette Fusion Pro Glide Razor and also the Gillette 2-in-1 Gel and Skin Care products. I am thoroughly happy and impressed with both of them in their effectiveness of giving me a close and smooth shave. The razor semms to glide by itself with litle or no force and gets the hair off in 1 stroke with no pulling of any of it. The shave gel goes on smooth, stays in place when shaving, and leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth when finished. The other razors and gels I have used in the past left my skin feeling "hot", and sore when finished, along with some razor bumps. Using the 2 Gillette products is like a night and day difference and I would recommend them to others. I am so pleased that I was able to test them and see what and how a perfect shave truly is. I have pretty much always used Gillette products for shaving and this new ProGlide razor with the FlexBall technology has made my shaving experience even better. The FlexBall makes it a lot easier to shave my face in on stroke since the head moves with the shape of my face. I definitely will be using this new razor as my permanent razor for all of my shaving needs! The number of blades and the FlexBall technology make this a great razor to use.

With the technology of the Flexball this is by far the closest shave ever. The movement is flawless and follows every contour of my face and head. I do not only use this razor for my beard but also in keeping my head clean shaven. Hands down this is the best shave I have ever had. In combination with the Gillette Fusion Shave gel this razor glides across the skin so smooth. The razor also includes a lubricating strip on the shave head which keeps the razor glide safely and smoothly across the skin. With this close of a shave I do not have to shave as many times a week and keeps my face and head smoother for longer. When I recieved the my new Gillette Fusion ProGlide from Gillette, I was shocked on how smooth my face was after my first use. The blades "glided" over my face with each motion. The face hair was gone without a tug or pull and no nicks! Usually by evening stubble is felt but the shave was so close that I was good until my usual morning routine. I usually have razor burn after I shave and have to use aftershave, but not with these blades. Now I do not dread my morning shave!! I've never gotten such a close shave without cutting my face. I'm not sure if it is the ultra fine blades or the flexball handle that does the trick, but I'm sold on this razor.
