I rotate through 2 razors brands other than Gillette. I decided to try the Gillette Proglide, since I've been using the Proglide gel. I have no issue with the razor or blades. It's just when I started looking at buying more cartridges, I realized that they are relatively more expensive. I'm not really getting a better shave with the Proglide compared to my other brands. So, Proglide is not worth the extra $. I am enamored with the snazzy look and feel, but not enough to pay more money for the system.

Upon receiving my Gillett Fusion ProGlide razor via a program being run by Gillette, I must say I really like this blade performance! I could definately tell a difference from my other blade that I had been using. The cartridge manuvered very well around my chin bone and the sleek lubrastrip left me feeling soft with no burning sensation or razor burn. There was also no pulling or snagging of my whiskers! I even noticed the razor weight was a lot less than another razor I had been using. In comparison I do not think I will be going back to using the razor that I had been using. This one is replacing every one that is in the house!! Thanks Gillette!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The razor didn't tug on my hairs like the Mach 3 blades that I typically use and the pro glide system allowed me to get a perfect shave with only one pass which was really incredible and means I can shave faster. Also, no nicks and no razor burn. Impressive product! Now my wife stole it for her legs and she likes it too!

Its like driving a car with a great suspension, the razor really hugs the curves of your face.

I received ProGlide Flexball complimentary to try out - thank you very much Gillette - I just don't get it though. I got a good shave with it, but I just don't feel it's any better than my single blade or an electric. When I opened the package and examined the multiple blades, the flex ball, the fancy handle - I was like "wow", this should be the smoothest shave I've ever had. It just wasn't. It was a good shave, no cuts, but it just didn't live up to the promise of greatest that is implied when you put this razor in your hand. So maybe I'm doing it wrong. Holding it wrong, not pressing hard enough against my face - something. I will give Gillette the benefit of the doubt on this as I'm sure they've tested it and retested it and then more exhaustive research prior to releasing it. Bottome line: good shave but not wow'd. I have been a Gillette user for years and the new Fusion ProGlide Manual Razor with FlexBall Technology is by far the best shaving instrument I have used.The added flexibility has allowed me to shave against the grain of my beard and still get a close shave without the problems IO've had in the past of ingrown hairs. I find that I really don't have to shave against the hair as the Fusion ProGlide Manual Razor with FlexBall Technology allows me to shave with the flow of my beard and still get a close shave.

The ball joint it uses to pivot around the chin area really get all thosr stubborn hairs that usually take 2 more goes of a normal conventional razor. All of this combined with the shaving gel infuzed with just a touch of aloe to give your skin that fresh refreshing smell along with smooth clean skin. All in all the Fusion proglide kit is an outstanding product that i recommend to anyone that love to take care of business quickly and efficient,no razor competes unless you're willing to spend hundreds of dollars.

I've used this razor several times and it's still sharp as new. It doesn't get clogged either with my thick/longer hair going into it. It gives a smooth shave without any nicks cuts or burns. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well, as my title states, I feel like a surgeon with the Gillette Fusion ProGlide Manual razor in my hand. The handle is not like any other. I Think the people at Gillette really spent some time developing this great Gillette handle. The grip is right where you need it. The grip is on my thumb and index finger. It feels like it was designed for me. The handle has the right amount of weight to it - almost like a more expenive handle - not too bulky or too thin. Even when wet, I felt like I still had a good grip on it. If your wonder about the Gillette Fusion ProGlide handle then no need to wonder. I would say it's the best I have ever tried.

I have to say the proglides five sharp razors and the brilliant idea of having a precision blade on the back is just awesome. Accompanied with a good pre shave routine proglide is by far the best razor out there to get the best shave.
