This is definitely one of the best razors I have ever used and will continue to do so. Before I would buy this product I would definitely want to know if it is any better than a regular multi-blade razor. Well I can say from my experience it really is. I already bought replacement heads so my wife could try it and she said it works amazingly, so ladies check it out too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely the best shaving system I have ever tried. I've been loyal to my Mach 3 for years and hate heavy bulky razors. While this is a bit heavy and yes, bulky, the pivot ball makes for a smoother more comfortable shave. It makers it easy to shave around the chin and neck area and these blades are SHARP and gives a smooth silky feeling face.. I love it!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried many different shaving methods over the years. After I first started shaving in high school, I was using an electric shaver. It worked well enough and got me the close shave I desired at the time. I then moved to a modern manual razor, something like the Mach 3 or something. When I got tired of paying for the expensive razor cartridges, I switched to wet shaving with a brush and a double edge safety razor. I really enjoyed shaving in this manner. I recently tried out a Braun electric razor. It is probably the best electric razor I have ever used, but it doesn't get as close as a manual razor. After the electric razor, I was asked to try out the Fusion ProGlide with FlexBall Technology. I was hoping I wouldn't like it, because I know the replacement blades can be so expensive. This razor has given me some of the best shaves in recent memory, and much quicker than with a double edge safety razor. While the safety razor blades are much cheaper (often less than $0.10 each) it takes much more care and precision to get a good close shave without cutting yourself. The Fusion ProGlide razor was quick and safe. No cuts and it got just as close as my safety razor. It was good enough that I might have to switch, despite the high cost of replacement blades.

What can be said? Every blade that Gillette has come out with is always amazing. Since the Mach 3, meaning every blade after that generation, they have all been so good that little can be said about the differences between them. Some blades stick with the 1 blade on top for edging system, some gave it up and left the 4-5 regular blades. They all have close shaves, especially with repeated swipes, very much including this one. I'm being very honest and fair in this review, much like all of my reviews. This blade is another in a list of blades that do the job very well. The balled head that slightly turns the blade, I can't attest that it does anything of merit. All the blades are sharp and clean, and have not cut me yet. Only thing left to test is its longevity. I only shave 1-2 times a week, and some of my blades I use well over a year as I'm just that cheap! But as long as I don't see blood, I keep using it =-). Again, this blade works just as well as all of the rest of the blades that are "top of the line" since Mach 3. I hope this helps you in your decision to purchase this product, or against it. Can't go wrong.

I have recently recieved a free Gillette Fusion ProGlide Manual Razor from Gillette to try out and review. I was shocked about how close of a shave I recieved from this razor! To top all of that off it got a close shave with only going over spots once not multiple times which really helped cut down my shaving time. This was a great product and worth the money!

It felt smooth without a pull or tug. The result was a clean comfortable shave. I tried other 5 blade razors and was disappointed so I went back to the Gillette fusion proglide manual.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Gillette Razor showed up in the mail today,IWWWorkasaave to be clean shaven since I had to work in the morning i thought i'd try it out. Out of the box i was impressed the razor handle is well built made of metal with rubber grips it feels great in your hand. The razor has 5 blades which give a much closer shave than the 3 blade razor i'm used to. I was comfortable shaving with it as the ball head turns to prevent cutting yourself. This razor could be a replacement for my Gillette Mach 3 which i have been using for as long as i can remember.

I received a new Fusion ProGlide with FlexBall razor from Gillette, and here is my review. This razor has a really nice look and feel. The grippy section is awesome, the weight is right, and it's strong. I thought with moving pieces it would be fragile but definitely not. The shave was very smooth, close as can be, typical of the 5 blade razors from Gillette. However, I do not prefer the razor head to move. I like the rigid or old style better. My guess is this is totally a personal preference. Some faces will probably benefit from the contouring cartridge. I simply enjoy being able to better angle and direct which part of the blade(s) touches my skin. Overall a very nice package and I do recommend. Cost of refills and compatibility of those refills with other model handles will definitely come in to play.

Gillette always is the most innovative company when it comes to razors and shaving supplies. I have used this razor for a few weeks now and it is just as sharp as it was the day I got it. With the technology of the Flexball this is by far the closest shave ever. The movement is flawless and follows every contour of my face and head. I do not only use this razor for my beard but also in keeping my head clean shaven. Hands down this is the best shave I have ever had. In combination with the Gillette Fusion Shave gel this razor glides across the skin so smooth. The razor also includes a lubricating strip on the shave head which keeps the razor glide safely and smoothly across the skin. With this close of a shave I do not have to shave as many times a week and keeps my face and head smoother for longer. Thanks Gillette for making the most innovative and best shave products on the market.
