[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried almost every Gillette razor released in the last ten years. The flexball razor blew all of them away on my first shave. I shave every other day, and I'm used to tug and pull with razors. Even with the other Gillette razors I've had issues. This razor, on the first shave, was amazing. No tug and pull, no razor burn, ease of use, and it glided amazingly on my face. It was a super fast, almost perfect shave. Then the next time I went to use it (two days later), it started to feel like the Gillette razors I've been used to. It had minor tug and pull, didn't get every spot on the first pass, and I got a little razor burn on my neck. The third use (another two days later) left it almost unusable. Half-way through shaving, I switched to a new disposable, three blade cheapo razor to finish. Three uses and the blade was done, and I didn't even leave it in the shower. It just sat on my sink between uses. It did give an amazing shave the first time, but I don't know if the price of blades justify purchasing this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Gillette Fusion Proglide Razor from the brand to try out, but I will certainly be purchasing it again. It gave me one of the best shaves I have ever experienced. It glided so easily, and did a great job. A super close shave and my skin was left feeling soft and smooth.

Let me preface this by stating that I am a Gillette user. Gillette is my blade of choice, although I do not use them as often as I used since the price becomes prohibitive. When I tried the FlexBall handle out, I was both pleased and disappointed. The handle does in fact pivot as advertised. That pivot does truly make all the difference. The head pivoted in such a way to hit all the problem areas, including that tight spot around my Adam's Apple. No other razor I have ever used has reached that area with such efficiency as the this one...not even my electric razor (which is why I stopped using it and went back to manual blades). But this experience was not all sunshine and roses. The first shave was good, however the second was noticeably worse and the third just tore my face up. The same thing happened when I replaced the blade. Normally, my ProFusion blades last anywhere from 6 to 8 weeks with shaves every 3-4 days. So to have this razor give out after just the first shave is very upsetting. My personal theory is that the two blades that came with the handle were "starter" blades. Much like the starter ink cartridges with inkjet printers. I can't see that the handle itself would cause this razor to die so quickly. If the "starter" blades were better I would give this a 5-Star rating, but considering how many nicks and cuts and rashes I received after the first shave, I could not in good conscious give it a higher rating.

Lucky for me, I had just received my Gillette Fusion Proglide manual razor with flexball technology BZZKIT. The razor along with the active sport shave gel made short work of the beard. The flexball followed the contours of my face perfectly. I have never had a closer or smoother shave. The razor and gel are the perfect combination for a great shave.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used the mach 3 for the longest time, LOVED the razor although it seemed i had to replace cartridges frequently. I tried some other razors and was disappointed by the irritation or how long they lasted. Reluctantly tried this RAZOR and I LOVE it!! it lasts a long time gives a close and smooth shave without causing any irritation. I will not be changing any time soon. I really feel that this is one of the best razors on the market.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gillette is usually the brand I used. I like it and this preclude with the swivel head is no exception. The shave is smooth, clean and close. O usually get irritated with other types of razors but not this one. The only 'bad' thing I would say about this is that because of the swivel head, it takes a shave or to to get used to the way it moves. I usually shave early in the morning right before work and I usually shave in a hurry... That's how I tried the swivel head for the first time and I have no idea how, but I knocked my nose. Its just a tad different experience than a non-swivel head but after you get used to it, its awesome

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got a chance to audition the new Gillette Fusion Proglide razor, but with "Flexball" technology. The razor cartridge has 5 blades on its main face, and single "detailing" blade on its top to hit those hard to reach places (like the base of the nose). I have been using various versions of Gillete's razors for decades, and really like the Fusion design even if I have to giggle about the shaving arms race that appears to be happening. I think they may have found the effective limit for blades with this design, any more and it will turn into a cheese grater. I was already a reluctantly loyal Gillette Fusion user, and the only thing that keeps me from championing the brand is the cost of replacement cartridges. I have used a lot of different razors, and Gillette is honestly the best shave I can find, the least irritating to my skin, and I can get almost a month out of the blades before they get dull. I typically look for coupons and rare discounts and then buy the cartridges in bulk (2 year supply), because they are so expensive. The Flexball handle is really a nice upgrade from the previous version allowing the razor to swivel and flex even more than before. I will not go back to the previous stiff/inflexible version. Overall I love Gillette Razors, and am impressed with the latest design.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My experience with the proglide flexball handle is one in which i do not feel as though i have control over my shave. i put my fingers on the back of the blades to hold it stable as i shave over contours and angles in my face. great razor, but quite a gadget.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received this razor in the mail, and have now shaved using it 3 times. The blades are very sharp, which is great, but the design with the swivel head is ingenious. It does (as they say in the ads) actually allow a closer shave over the contours of your face, especially around its edges. It is working great for me and I will continue to use it!
