[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After years of being a Schick Quattro user, I didn't think I would change...until I tried the Gillette Fusion Proglide Power Cartridges. Pros: It's the longest lasting cartridge I've ever used. Using it 4-5 days per week, it held for up for 4 weeks and didn't lose it's sharpness. This was better than my Schick. I hate shaving and have sensitive skin, but the razor worked really well, giving me a close shave without tugging or pulling. I didn’t think smaller blades would be as effective, but it actually helps decrease pull & tug. Blade stabilization was great for the contours of my face. The handle makes it very easy to hold and glide over my skin. Con: An enlarged Lubristrip lubricates skin, allowing for a smoother shave, however, sometimes I felt it left a little too much residue on my skin. I like to use aftershave after shaving and with the residue it felt a little too much. Note: Received free product.

What makes it so different is the fact that it flexes to meet the contour of your face. It keeps you from pressing against your skin too hard or soft. Afterwards I didn't get any bumps or have any skin irritation.

I am quite impressed with the quality in both the smooth shave and overall feel of the razor in my hand. It has sped up my whole routine and that is huge! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used Gillette razors for years. I started with the Mach 3 and have had every razor since then. I bought the Fusion when it first came out. When I heard about the Flexball Fusion I was skeptical. I thought it was a little gimmicky. But nevertheless, I tried it. I shave my face and I also shave my head. The Flexball doesn't really feel any different when shaving but it gets into the corners better. I have a closer shave. I have tried a lot of razors in my day and I actually have a Schick razor in my shower right now. It works ok for my face but I always cut myself when using it on my head. Gillette products are great and I have been a believer for a long time.

Well, the simple addition of this new flexball handle has been successful and gone well beyond any expectations I had. The last time I was sent a new razor it was a total disaster- no improvement and in fact a step back. SO I was somewhat skeptical when this arrived. But, fear not, it's a keeper. Well done Gillette.Go ahead and try it - great smooth close shave is what you'll discover.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gillette has produced another razor with multiple blades (5 this time) and it does a fine job of getting the beard off your face. But so does every other Gillette razor going back for years. I found this particular razor to be no better or worse than the ones I have used in the past and I've been shaving for over 50 years. If you are thinking about trying this razor, I recommend against doing so. When you figure the price of these highly technical shaving cartridges combined with the initial cost of the basic handle, this Fusion ProGlide model is not worth the price and I will just continue using my old Gillette razors.

He loves these, they are by far the smoothest razors he has tried, and he loves the single blade on the other side that helps with areas around the nose and mouth. My only complaint is the price.

The long lasting blades make this not only a terrific shave but also a great value for the dollar spent. Sure you could spend less on a razor but why not spend a little more for a razor that lasts longer and feels so much better. Don't waste your time with the other guys, head straight for the Gillette ProGlide. Your face will thank you!

So, the test of a good razor for me is can I get a close, comfortable shave without the fear of cuts and nicks, and the razor passed this test. I was happy with the results of the shave. I would say that the razor performed as expected from an advanced cartridge razor. I prefer a razor with some heft to it. It feels like I have more control with a heavier razor. The all over look and feel of the razor was nice, although the ball feels gimmicky to me.
