This Razor Works Fine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The razor works fine. To me, it was nothing particularly special. It shaved my face just as it should. I understand Gilette is always trying to be the latest and greatest (and they do quite well at it), but I really fail to see the difference between this product and practically any other razor I've used. Is it better than a disposable razor? Yes, absolutely. Is it better than a much cheaper, mail order alternative? I don't think so. Also, it's a little frightening when you open the package to the razor and are immediately greeted with a $5 off coupon for blades. This shows me that 1) They know you'll need them soon and 2) They are overpriced.

Fabulous Razor....It follows the contour of your face!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There is no razor on the market that can equate this Gillette Fusion ProGlide Razor. Unlike the other ones, it leaves no bump on my face, and it glides on my skin. My sking feels like a baby's butt! From this day forward, I will use nothing else but Gillette Fusion pro-Glide.

Pivot ball is the bomb.com

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really didn't expect the shave to be any different. If I'm being honest, I kind of thought it was just another gimmick but WOW! I don't have to press on the head around the corners of my mouth and get cut anymore. I don't have to wince when I do my neck. I was really blown away by the closeness of the shave and the ease and smoothness of the razor. I'm hooked.

Great Razor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gillette Fusion Proglide is a great razor, best I've ever used. This razor contours to my face when I shave, cuts close so I'm not dealing with 5 o'clock shadow later in the day. I recommend everyone give this razor a try, you'll love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used the mach 3 for the longest time, LOVED the razor although it seemed i had to replace cartridges frequently. I tried some other razors and was disappointed by the irritation or how long they lasted. Reluctantly tried this RAZOR and I LOVE it!! it lasts a long time gives a close and smooth shave without causing any irritation. I will not be changing any time soon. I really feel that this is one of the best razors on the market.

A smooth shave with none of the hassle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to say that the Gillette Fusion ProGlide Razor is pretty great and very impressive. It made it very easy to shave and I got a very close shave without any of the razor burn that other blades deliver. The ProGlide worked its way around my face with very little movement from me. I did't have to twist my arm or move in several different directions to get the shave that I wanted. Due to the flexball technology, I didn't have to constantly g over the same areas more then once. It was great and saved me a lot of time in the process! I usually use Gillette for all my shaving needs. I am now happy to use this new technology of theirs on a regular basis. If you have not tried Gillette Fusion ProGlide Razor razor out, you really should. You will be happy that you did!

Excellent, Highly Recommended

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one of the best razors out there, period. The brand is reliable, the razor body sturdy and long-lasting, and the heads offering some of the closest shaves I've had. I would have no hesitation in buying this product, even if it is priced slightly higher than the competition. I shave in the shower, and I appreciate the waterproof vibrating motor. The swivel head is an excellent addition. Overall, just a really solid buy.

Great Razor, Tilt function is fantastic

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works well. Tilt function works smoothly, but not as well as you might expect. Much better than my other razors First shave was a dry shave right out of the shower, no nicks, no cuts, fairly smooth face. How do I rate razors? 8 out of 10 moustaches

I've been using the Fusion ProGlide series of razors for many years now. No razor is perfect, but the Fusion ProGlide series has been a solid performer. I just received the Fusion ProGlide Razor with FlexBall handle from Gillette and for me, the FlexBall technology has proven to be an added benefit. I've found that I need to make fewer passes around my chin. Fewer passes means less irritation. If you already are happy with the Fusion ProGlide series, I think you will find the FlexBall handle will help you get a better shave.

Smoothest Shave Ever From a Razor Using the Gillette Fusion ProGlide

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow, what a smooth shave! I've always laughed at the increasing number of blades in razors. This coming from someone who has been using his 2-bladed Gillette Excel since he can remember. The Excel has always provided a clean, close shave but with the downside of raw, reddish, irritated skin. It was a consequence I accepted as just part of shaving. Now, I'm eating my crow, with relish! The Gillette Fusion ProGlide with its 5 blades cuts cleanly and smoothly, whether I went with the grain or against (I usually do with first, then against on a second pass--everyone says go with but how can you get a close shave that way?). I felt no nicks, pulls, or cuts, and my face never felt raw. Applying Nivea After Shave Balm post shave, I did not feel any burn like I normally do. It's a good indication to me that my skin wasn't raked raw. I also compared the ProGlide razor to my Norelco Coolskin 7775X electric shavor. I put in the new HQ8 replacement blades since the original HQ177 blades are no longer available. I found the HQ8 blades to be better than the HQ177: smoother and closer in my opinion. Many reviewers contend otherwise (I shave in the shower so perhaps others have different results because of different circumstances). I love my Norelco because it provides a smooth, close shave without irritation. But it takes time and a good number of passes to achieve the results. So in comparison to the Norelco, the ProGlide was equally smooth and close without the multiple passes and extra time. The smooth shave really won me over but there were other great features about the ProGlide razor. The articulating razor head was excellent at pivoting itself around cheek bones and jaw lines. As a result, the razor stayed glued to my skin for a close shave. Weight and grip of the razor felt solid and good, not plasticky or cheap. Love the dark chrome and metal feel. I haven't come to any conclusions on the FlexBall yet. I shaved without a mirror and didn't notice whether the FlexBall pivoted side to side as it was intended to. Perhaps it did to help navigate the contours of my face or perhaps it didn't and is just a marketing gimmick. I'll have to shave again, this time in front of a mirror to judge properly. The ProGlide razor isn't perfect and here is its one flaw: the razor head is big. How can it not be with 5 blades? Gillette did a fantastic job of keeping the blades thin, thinner than the Excel blades, but they do still command a bit of real estate. They are also slightly wider than the Excel. So all of this translates to some difficulty shaving hair at and around the upper lip. I could only shave with the grain here and very carefully at that. The razor just felt a little tall for that small region. I also had slight difficulty under the jaw where the skin dips. Again, because the razor head is relatively large and not easily maneuvered there. I can see myself improving my technique with practice so this isn't a major issue, just an issue for my first time out. I normally shave once a week, even with the Norelco. My skin usually requires a break before the next shave and shaving short stubble after a few days usually results in pain. But I am optimistic enough with the ProGlide experience that I will try shaving more frequently. If I am able to shave more often, then I can be content with a close enough shave rather than needing that super close shave. In fact, I would prefer to shave more often just so I don't look so scruffy by the week's end. Here's hoping...
