Great product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never used a razor that was so great! No irritation whatsoever! The rolling ball really seems to make a difference in my shaving experience. I will definitely be recommending this razor to my friends and family.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After 20 years of shaving . . . . THIS is the razor for me! If you need to be pampered and want the closest shave ever . . . . THIS is the razor for you! Time and time again, I can use my razor without changing the blade. And once you try it . . . you will not turn back to another!

Big but bulky

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not used to using a razor with such a large cartridge on it. It does pivot and turn very nicely so it shaves really well under the chin and around the jaw, but I really had issues with using something that large so close to my sideburns. I just could not judge when it was cutting it such a close area.

Good but not great handle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using the pro fusion, provided by Gillete, a few times; I can say that the handle had good weight and length but I did find that it became a little slippery. Overall it provided a great shave but when shaving against the grain I felt like it might slip.

Good products

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was using the Gillette Mach 3 power razor so was suprised the ProGlide was not battery powered. Doesn't seem to effect the shave - it's actually smoother with the additional blades. Plus, no more having my razor start vibrating in my luggage so ProGlide will def be my travel razor. I also like the plastic no mess turn top on the shaving cream - nice improvement. Just used my coupon to buy additional razors today so clearly this campaign worked with me.

Best razor ever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this razor. It has such a sleek look. And has a sturdy grip to the touch. I enjoyed the end result of my shave. It has sharp blades wich give you a clean cut. I am glad i got to try this. WIll definitely be buying this for time to come.

Unfamiliar movement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The razor cartridge performed quite admirably. For a disposable head, I could not be more pleased with the performance. But the hansle is where I have an issue. Over the years that I've been shaving, I'd gotten used to how to handle a razor's handle to get the head exactly where I want. I ended up slicing myself a couple times on this razor, because I'd turn it as if it was a fixed blade razor, then the ball moved, sliding the blades sideways across my skin ... I'm sure with practice, this could be a good system, but for the time being? I'm not impressed.

Good grip handle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked the handle, I though it was the right length to hold onto. It was not slippery and provided a good grip. Which is good when you're trying to be careful and not cut yourself. I like to bit of curve to it as well. Easy to use and handle especially around more sensitive areas like around the nose and under the chin.

Difficult to get a closer shave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: never had a razor cut this close; feels very comfortable in hand; look of razor is impressive Cons: not sure how the pivoting head helps as people do not shave in zigzag motions across their face. I shave in the shower. At the very end of the shower. This allows me beard to get much softer through hot water and steam as I do everything else. This extra time to soften beard makes those VERY expensive blades last much longer. My blade typically lasts 4-5 weeks shaving every other day. I used to just shave in sink and just splashing hot water on beard doesn't soften it enough and blades do not last near as long. With this said, I still have not changed the blade and it's still cutting for sharp after 4 weeks (8 shaves). Seems to be sharper at this point than previous shaver heads of other ones I've tried. As I mentioned above, most people shave in a straight line on their face. The only way a pivoting razor head would be beneficial was if you shaved in a zigzag pattern on your face allowing the head to rotate to the left/right as you applied pressure to it and changed direction back and forth on your skin. People just do not shave like that! Whether it's vertical, horizontal or diagonal across your face it's always in a straight line. So, do I buy the marketing hype around the pivoting head to get a closer shave? No. Does this razor shave closer than anything I've ever had? Yes. Would I buy another as a gift for a friend...absolutely!

Razors Razors Razors

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used many different razors in my life and they have all given me different results along with different prices. The Proglide is a great razor but that also comes with a steep price! It does give you an amazingly close shave and the design lets the razor flow across your face like glass but with the refills costing between $26 (6 pk) & $60 (14 pk) I have a hard time swallowing everyday usage.
