I didn't have to with this Gillette pro glide. I have used the Mach 3 and the quatro but this one is better than both of those. Areas like under my chin and right below my nose came clean with ease. After hearing from a trusted source how great the Fusion ProGlide razor is, I tried it. I am not overly impressed. Barring a remarkable shave next time, which I don't foresee, I'll be going back to my simple Sensor Excel. The “glide” lives up to its name – it glides over your skin, but I thought there was way too much glide at times and not enough shave. For example, I had to repeat shaving parts of my face where significant gel had remained, leaving me to wonder why the glide didn't shave those parts the first time. And I still seem to have a few whiskers under my nose and on the neck. Yes, you don't feel the shave and that's pretty neat – I had absolutely no worries about nicks and cuts – but how much of this is due to the razor and how much to using ForMen2 quality shave cream, I don't know. I am not sure if the battery powered razor does better, but I couldn't fathom using it, since I no longer use an electric shaver, I don't see the point.

I've been using the Fusion ProGlide series of razors for many years now. No razor is perfect, but the Fusion ProGlide series has been a solid performer. I just received the Fusion ProGlide Razor with FlexBall handle from Gillette and for me, the FlexBall technology has proven to be an added benefit. I've found that I need to make fewer passes around my chin. Fewer passes means less irritation. If you already are happy with the Fusion ProGlide series, I think you will find the FlexBall handle will help you get a better shave.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried the Gillette Pro-Guide Razor and found the product was fantastic. I used it to shave my face. It was smooth and easy to use. It did not make any nicks or cuts on my face. I love this product. The technology is wonderful. The blades were sharp and the ball pivoted allowed for the razor to move and contour to my face. I recommend any one who has to shave to try this product out. It is one of the best razors on the market. I will continue to use the razor to see how long the blade stays sharp before it needs to be replaced.

I have moles on my face and it makes it very difficult sometimes to shave. But not with the PROGLIDE, I can maneuver it where ever need be and not worry about taking my moles off! so thank you BZZAGENT.COM and Gillette for allowing me to try a wonderful product! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Assuming this was another gimmick razor I took the plunge. As everyone knows the first stroke is the best. Having said that every stroke was just as good. From the razor to the shaving gel it was all amazing. The shaving gel expands and foams so much you don't need to use that much at all. Fresh you ask? Well yes as fresh as clothes from the dryer or as freshas a shower in the amazons water falls . I love it and now everyone can be a little closer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use a the Dorco razor normally (supplier used by dollar shave club). I was expecting the ProGlide to blow my mind and really it was no better than my Dorco 5-blade. I say go Dorco for a fraction of the price and end up with the same shave!

well i just recieved my gillete fusion proglide with flexball technology and i must say, this razor is pretty darn good! im not a fan of straight blade razors to shave my face, yet this one was oddly smooth. no razor burn for this guy for once in my life. thanks for allowing me to try this wonderful product. gillette never dissapoints...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As far back as I can remember, my dad always used a Gillette razor, and now I finally know why. Compared to other razors that I have used, the Gillette Fusion Proglide truly gives a quality and close shave. Prior to this I thought all razors were about the same, hence why I always bought the cheapest option. Now I know this is not true. The Gillette Fusion Proglide with Flexball handle just looks like a razor for the modern man. It is futuristic looking with cool metal contours and orange and blue accents. The rubber grip is very comfortable in my hand and overall the handle is heavy enough to where it just feels like quality. The razor effortlessly gives a close shave with literally zero irritation. The Flexball technology allows it to adapt to every contour of my face and I rarely have to go over areas again since one swipe of the razor normally gets every hair. I don't know if it's just me, but the blade feels a little wider than other razors, which covers more ground with each stroke and thus requires less strokes overall. And compared to my old razor, the blades are spaced apart enough so that not as much hair gets clogged between the blade, making it so I can use each blade a little longer. My only complaint (and a minor one at that) is that the holder is somewhat odd. It holds the end of the razor with the blades, but the other end of the handle sticks out and is not supported and looks kind of cheap. I keep my razor in a drawer, and if I happen to place something on top of the handle that is unsupported it can cause the handle-holder assembly to tip over. This is more of an annoyance that in no way affects the shaving performance. Overall I am very happy with the razor and plan on sticking with it! I think I have finally found a razor that is better than all the rest!
