I need to shave daily and this makes shaving enjoyable, its very easy to se and offers a closer shave. The flex ball makes it very easy to get the harder spots on my neck and around my mouth.

It gets the closest shave out of any of the previous razors I have used. It feels good in your hand, and has enough weight to make it feel like a nice and well made razor. It handles curves on skin nicely It took longer for stubble to appear than normal because of it's close shave. I would recommend to anyone!

I use an electric razor for my face but I like to groom my chest with a razor and unlike an electric, when the blades get dull it doesn't cause as much irritation as a blade against your skin. I received the Gillette Fusion Proglide Razor with the Flexball Handle from the company itself and I really liked the way it felt on my skin. The Flexball seemed to move over my skin and not just against it, I could really tell the difference when my wife said it was a smooth shave. I recommend this product not becase it was a new razor but because of the Flexball technology, it helped to give me a better shave and didn't cause me to shave again for a few more days.

Having tried more brands and products than I'd like to admit (including several from Gillette), I was curious to see what might have changed/improved. From single blade to five blades (YIKES, razor burn anyone?), simple plastic design to metal insets and battery powered functionality... long story short, there's no denying the options are aplenty. So, where does one begin? Well, for most men shaving their face harkens back to that first experience with their father or a male role model, where you playfully mash your face with as much foam as you can tolerate and are handed a razor (without a blade). Remember now? Yes, most have had that delightful memory. Suffice to say it becomes much more challenging when you actually have to learn how to cut hair without slicing your face in the process. In the interest of time, let's assume the audience knows how to properly shave. How did this specific razor stack up against the competition? Quite well, actually. Not unlike most products there were things it did well, not so well, and perhaps not enough to actually notice. Let's begin with the cut itself - simple, smooth, no need for re-tracing the same areas of your face, which equals less skin irritation. As for the blades, they clogged, as have most multi-blade mechanisms I've tried. This was true no matter if I rinsed the blades after each stroke or waited. To that end, this razor matched the competition, which isn't necessarily a good thing. As for the rollerball, can't say I really noticed a significant advantage. The blade seems to track the contours of your face better but the cut itself doesn't seem to improve as a result. The sensitive shaving gel produced a pleasant lather with a slightly oily byproduct, making it more effective to prevent cutting oneself unintentionally. The fragrance was neutral and pleasing as well. All in all, the shave was a very close one with little/no irritation. The rollerball ineffectiveness and clogging (even though the latter seems to happen on most all handheld razors) are enough to bring this to 4 out of 5 stars. * would actually rate 3.5/5 if half stars were available -- good product overall, just may require more patience than I'm willing to give it

I've been using an electric razor for years, so I didn't have high expectations. I was wrong; the ProGlide was excellent. It gave me a smooth shave with no nicks. The FlexBall technology made it easy to navigate the curves of my face. I am very happy with this razor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] amazing. for real the best hand razer ive ever used, not kiding you. the proglide shaving 2+1 active sport shaving cream was slightly to mentholated for my taste but relaxed after a couple of minutes. it still didnt take away from the razer being awesome.

With this razor i had no nicks or cuts, and the hair all came off smoothly. I would definitely recommend this razor to anyone and everyone! The razor gently glided over the contours of my face, leaving no hair behind. If you are looking for a close, smooth shave, without the hassle of having to keep going over the same areas, GET THIS RAZOR!!!

It does seem to give a much smoother shave ans the ball technology seems to glide over the contours of my face. I am recommending to all my family and friends. What would make this product even more appealing is to lower the price, it is quite costly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Initially when I looked a the package for the Fusion ProGlide, I thought the plastic ball in the middle was more of a gimmick then function. My thoughts soon changed after lathering up my face with the Fusion 2 in 1 gel, going straight for my chin area. Wow the ball actually helps the tri-blade follow my face with the very little pressure, for a smooth clean result. Ive used other manual razors from Gillette that usually leave me with small cuts on the chin area or never quite get as close as I would like without irritation. The three bladed razor insert glides along smoothly, and with the help of the ball mechanism is certainly the best shave I've received from an off the shelf manual razor. That being said, I usually use a top of the range electric razor with some shaving gel. I was surprised at how well the Gillette compared in the quality of the shave, and would have no problem using it as substitute to my electric if needed. The only real complaint that I have, is the cost of the refills. Assuming you shave everyday, the cost of refills over a year would easily equal the cost of a nice electric razor set. Overall a great performing product, but not exactly cheap to use in the long run.
