I was fortunate to be able to sample a flex ball razor. It does a nice job of moving about my face freely and without any drag. But the real star of this is still the blade. The ProGlide blade cuts smoothly, close, and without any nicks and leaves my face baby smooth. The two work together well and make me look as good as I can!

I received my free Gillette Fusion ProGlide Razor (with "FlexBall" handle technology) from Gillette and put it to work this morning. The result? My skin is as smooth as a baby's butt. I know that sounds kind of cliche, but I actually do have a 3 month old baby at home and her butt really is exceptionally smooth. But I digress. Admittedly, I wasn't blessed with a bountiful wealth of facial hair, but I hadn't shaved in a few days and was a little nervous about shaving off whatever I'd grown out. But this razor did the trick. I didn't really have to go over any spots more than once, which helped prevent any razor burn. And the tougher areas that did require an extra once over felt totally fine afterwards - no irritation, no bleeding. And now almost 12 hours later my skin STILL feels pretty smooth. My only small complaint is that I wish it had a plastic cover for the blade. As it comes it's a large plastic thing that holds blades and the razor all in one which is a little bulky, and the razor doesn't snap in to place on holder well. Also, the whole "FlexBall" thing is nice and sounds great, but it's almost TOO flexible. Going around the chin line I almost wished there was a little more rigidity to it because it bent, or "flexed" too easily. But all that's a really small complaint. The razor itself was awesome and I'd highly recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The unique feature to the ProGlide is a ball that lets the blade swivel to the contours of your face. In other words, the difficult to get close areas such as under the chin or if you have a goatee, or moustache, become easier to maintain. Manual razors are awkward to hold to do the contouring, but the ProGlide allows you to hit all of those difficult angles with simple movements of your wrist. The blades are very good and provide a smooth shave. I see nothing remarkable in that area compared to other razors. I would imagine that this razor would also be effective for women to shave the contours of the knee area. I love this razor and feel it is one of the best on the market!

It does hold up longer than most razors that I have tried. On the brighter side, I absolutely LOVE using this razor for shaving my head! With the hair being less course on my head, it works flawlessly. It gets the job done quickly, and have not had a single knick! With the ball technology, it glides over any contour effortlessly. Amazing!

Reduces the need to apply a lot of pressure and along with the shaving gel glides over your face. Definitely would recommend picking this razor and shaving gel up!

I used this 3 times so far, and it still shaves nice and smooth. I usually have to replace my razor after 3 or 4 times, but so far this razor has been shaving very smooth.

Since I first started shaving, electric razors have gotten good enough that it usually isn't worth the extra time to use a regular one. While the product did a decent job, it wasn't much better than my Norelco which takes half the time and doesnt require shaving gel and the related cleanup.

The good thing is that one blade usually last me about two weeks. I would definitely recommend the product to anyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using the new razor that I received as part of a program sponsored by Gillette I noticed a huge difference in my shave quality right away. But the handle didn't make or break my shave. It wasn't overwhelmingly comfortable, It was still just as slippery when over wet and too much shave gel was involved. I will use the razor because of the blade, not because of the handle. And since the cartridges fit on the old handles, I'd say just buy the new blade!
