[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Shaving to me is one of those things I really do not look forward to....ever. Since I have started shaving over 20 plus years ago I have yet to find that Holy Grail of ultimate closeness and no skin irritation. The new Fusion ProGlide manual razor with FlexBall Technology I was hoping to be my savior. But as it turns out after several shaves it performs no better than my Gillette Fusion. The attached pictures show my face after a shave with the new razor and then one with my old one. Can you see a difference? I am not very convinced that the swivel of the ball helps any. It does look cool and space aged, but that is all I got out of it. I could feel the shave head moving and pivoting as I shaved but it did not seem to do any better or worse that my non-flexball razor. So I am giving this 3 stars as it did the same job as my current Gillette razor. I think that the idea of this type of razor was a good one, maybe it worked for other people. But my experience was a less than positive one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This razor is so smooth... As promised, the FlexBall Technology follows the contours of your face. In fact, I feel sorry for those who get use to this razor and have to use/barrow something else. Why? Because they are going to expect the same performance from another razor, wack at their face like they normally do, and cut themselves -- BAD! You get so use to the way the blades feel. They "feel-like they bend around the contours of your face". It's hard to believe the way you use to shave with traditional straight handle to blade configurations, you find yourself asking "just how often did I use to cut myself shaving". Plus, you get a really close shave in about 1/2 the time it takes with a traditional handled razor. I've told my buddies at the office about this razor and they don't believe the handle can make that much difference. So I challenged them to check it out. Feedback from their experience to come...

I am an avid Gillette Fusion ProGlide user and didn't think they could make a getter razor. But they did. The swivel motion of the razor give me an even better shave and is incredibly smooth. I have the battery operated Fusion razor at home and this one is packed in my travel bag.

Since I first started shaving, electric razors have gotten good enough that it usually isn't worth the extra time to use a regular one. While the product did a decent job, it wasn't much better than my Norelco which takes half the time and doesnt require shaving gel and the related cleanup.

I have always been a Gillette man, but this new Fusion Proglide with Flexball technology is by far the best manual razor I have used. No nicks, no cuts, glided over my skin with perfection. And to top it all off, the Fusion ProGlide 2-in-1 Gel + Skin Care for sensitive skin, left me feeling fresh and clean It was truly my best shave in years

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Fusion proglide with flex ball technology knocks out the previous proglide and any other razor before it. It was superb it going around the normal curves of the face as well as other sensitive areas on the body which have even crazier curves. I cannot see myself using any other razor from this point on.

First of - I love the Gillete Fusion razor... Love it... Best razor on the market for men! I got to try the new Proglide razor with flexball handle and my first reaction was... meh - nothing special. I did not notice any difference from the regular Proglide. I love that razor and will continue to use it. It works as well as the original Proglide but again, it was nothing special to me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just tried the new Powerball Gillette razor . Along with the new gel. Wow what a difference no drag fast clean shave. My wife even notice the difference, did not take long for me to shave. I am recommending this Razor and gel to anyone who wants a clean shave.

When the fusion proglide came out, I couldn't imagine that it would be much better than my favorite razor, the mach 3 (and the turbo). It proved to be so much better, not the extra trim blades and such (although that was useful) but just how smooth and nice it was. The flexball handle improves on that, allow the razor to track better, attempting to lay flatter. While I think it's better then the standard pro glide it wasn't as much of a leap from the mach 3 -> fusion pro glide. But improvements are always good!
