I find that the slight adjustment that the "FlexBall" allows helps fit the blades just right to facial contours. The blades are very sharp and long-lasting compared to many other blades I have tried.

The razor does well but if I was comparing it to other razors I feel like it does not cut as clean of a shave compared to a power razor like gillete Mach3 turbo . When I used it it got the job done but for me powered razors are better but , I would still use this razor just prefer powered. May be a better deal to others because the price is better and you don't have to worry about buying batteries.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The performance of the Fusion ProGlide manual razor with FlexBall Technology is unmatched by any other product that I have tried to date. The razor stays on your face no matter the angle used. The multiple blades are able to take out the toughest hairs on the first swipe without irritation. I was quite please how quickly I was able to knock out a beard of several days growth. Because I didn't have to go over the same place multiple times, I feel my skin was left much smoother and without damage. The cartridges last a LONG time and I have yet to replace one even after using it multiple weeks.

I usually go about 5 days at a time before shaving, so i have about 2-3cm of facial hair to shave off. And usually it takes 2-3 passes to get down to a smooth shave. With the Fusion ProGlide Razor, one stroke was all I needed to get a close shave. I couldn't believe it. And no cuts, scrapes, irritation - nothing. It was the best razor I've ever used.

I have a tough beard and it gave me a great shave. Love the thinner blades to give no tugging or pulling on my beard.I could shave in the morning and it lasted the day for me. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have suffered from Pseudofolliculitis barbae (aka, severe razor bumps) for the past 15 years. After years of trying different shaving methods, I finally determined I can keep it under control by only shaving once every couple days. As a tax CPA in public practice, this can be an issue if I appear disheveled when meeting with clients. A couple years back I started using a Schick Hydro and found it gave me a very close shave. I liked that you can flip up the top portion to use the top blade as a straight-edge, but have found the moisturizing strip to not work as well as it did several years back. As part of a promotion sponsored by Gillette, I've been using the Gillette Fusion Proglide with Flexball Technology for the past week. I was tentative to try something new, but wanted to give it a fair shake. I can honestly say I like the Gillette Fusion even better than the Hydro. I thought I would miss the Hydro, I find the thinner blades of the Fusions shave with less friction (see blade comparison in the picture). I can go a couple days without shaving, and though I of course have stubble, I do not look visibly unshaven. The Gillette Fusion Proglide 2-in-1 Shave Gel + Skin Care has also been enjoyable to use. I shave in the shower and I appreciate that the nozzle stays clean and the canister doesn’t rust. The gel itself also has a slight cooling feel that I like. All in all, I’m very happy I was introduced to the Gillette Fusion Proglide shaving system and plan to use it into the future.

The razor just glides across my face no snags nicks or owie's just clean smooth surface. Gillette ProGlide has been my brand for the last five years,why look any further when I have the #1 right here in my hand. The flex ball tech. rolls over all hard to get to spots with out fear of a nick. With my sensitive skin the Alpine Clean felt cool creamy that lasted long after shaving,nice clean smooth face.

I am completely enamored with this razor. It does exactly what it was designed to do run with the contour of your face. I noticed with other razors that I often miss spots where my face contours more than other spots but not with this razor. Thanks to Gillette for giving me this razor to try all I can say is that I'm sold on the Fusion ProGlide Razor with FlexBall handle technology. It really makes for a close shave.

This razor went through my tough stubble with no problems. Thank you bzz agent and Gillette will definitely be buying one of these refills when this blade dies

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Prior to trying the Gillette Fusion ProGlide Razor my primary method of shaving was using my electric razor, a Braun Series 5 wet / dry razor with a swivel head. I’m familiar with the Gillette Fusion razor brand as I once owned the original Gillette Fusion razor. The Gillette Fusion ProGlide Razor feels comfortable in my hand and is easy to use. After using the razor for the first time I was impressed by how close of a shave it gave me. Compared to my electric razor (dry method) I would have to say that the Gillette Fusion ProGlide does a better job at providing me with a clean and smooth shave. I decided for comparison sake I would try shaving with my electric razor (wet method) using the Gillette Fusion 2 in 1 shaving gel. I really liked using the 2 in 1 shaving gel with my electric razor, and I think it may have even improved the performance of my electric razor. I would have to say though that after shaving with my electric razor the Gillette Fusion ProGlide razor still has an advantage on providing a clean shave. I feel that I must also say that the primary reason why I was using an electric razor before was because in the past when I used a manual razor I often cut myself because I have sensitive skin. I think on one occasion I cut myself using the Gillette Fusion ProGlide Razor. I must say though that this should not count as a negative against the razor. I think it tends to lean towards personal preference and what shaving method works best for each individual person (electric or manual). I think I may continue to use the razor, but will try better to not cut myself. In closing I would recommend the Gillette Fusion ProGlide Razor to anyone who wants a closer, better shave.
