ProGlide Razor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I already had this razor from another campaign, but I love it. The razor replaced my last one and has been the only one I use now. Unlike most razors that give me razor burn this one doesn't its perfect.

Excellent razor, though still a bit costly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 4 out of 5 because of the cost only. The razor itself is smooth, and has enough weight to make it easy to handle and hold. The resulting shave is excellent. Can I say it's better than a Mach3? Maybe... I am one who does not shave every day. So for me it's 2-3 times a week (less if I'm lazy). but the "one stroke" aspect of the 5 blade ProGlide certainly gives it an edge. I am also in the habit of using a blade right down to the end of it's lube life. So when the lube bar shows white, I still use it one or more times after that. With the Mach 3, I've had nicks and cuts, meaning I can't actually push the envelope as much. This adds to the cost of the blades because I'm changing them more often. Right now, I've hit the white edge on the ProGlide and have used it an extra 2 times to see how far I go before I either lose the edge of the blade, or get cut. That is what will tell me the break-even on this blade. The break even is very important because of the cost. Again, I am not an every day shaver... I work from home and can go 2-3 days without shaving and looking like a grub in the office (the dog really doesn't care if I shave or not). But when I do shave, I want an easy clean and quick shave. The ProGlide gives me all of this, and is hands down better than other blades. Whether I can keep this up when summer comes, and I shave more often (outside, the skin wants to see the sun), I will have to see.

An exceptional shave!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The four blade design of the Fusion ProGlide sets it apart from its competitors and helps it to provide the smoothest, cleanest, and flat out best shave on the market available today. Don't fall for second rate competitors' ploys to get you to waste money on their inferior products. If you want the best, you needn't look any further than the ProGlide because it simply is THE BEST!

Better than the non flexball version

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first shave with this wasn't too bad, I noticed that I was able to get a bit closer and easier shave than the version without the flexball (which I use all the time). I had a medium amount of growth at the time. I switched out blades to the "power" version, which I like better, and it did an even better job. It's too bad it's not a power razor, as these typically work better for me. The razor works as well as any cartridge, giving a reasonably close shave with some irritation, particularly if you have a lot of regrowth. I overall prefer dual-edge razors as they tend to be superior.

There are so many razor choices out there that it is hard to decide but Gillette has made that pretty easy with this Proglide. Why didn't somebody think of a swivel head before. You will simply not get a better shave with any razor, not matter what it cost.

A Quality Shave.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always liked Gilette's products. In my opinion, their products give you a great shave. The Flexball ProGlide Razor is good...however the whole "flexball" component doesn't seem to offer much to the shaving experience and in my opinion, it's kind of a gimmick. However, gimmicks aside...it's still a really good razor. It really does get "virtually every single hair." I chose the Alpine Clean scent for my shave gel. I really like this scent, it leaves my face feeling refreshed and smooth. The scent itself it also great. A nice crisp scent that is reminiscent to forested mountain valleys, it's really good, you should definitely pick some up.

A very good razor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried the Flexball razor a few times now and at first I didnt think I liked it anymore than than the razor I was currently using. But now that I have more comfortable iusing it I think it does give a close and smooth shave and leaves my face feeling smooth. I'm still not quite convinced that the flexball helps to make the shave better but I think the razor does give a close shave.

Five blades and a floppy head

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been shaving with Gillette razors daily for 22 years. With heavy beard growth I border on needing to shave a 2nd time during the day due to "5 o'clock shadow". The Fusion Proglide cuts very well and cleans out really easy. In fact anything Mach 3 and newer clears out very easily due to the open back and attachment of the head to the handle. While a blessing for cleaning I find the head and springiness disappointing for actual on the face shaving. Most times while shaving I need to press down on it for firm contact with the skin. The floppy head and flexball fight that. The head tilts all the way back and the handle is at 90degrees straight off my face. Not the easiest position to smoothly drag along. I've tried Mach 3, Fusion, Proglide and they all do the same thing on me. Flexball to follow the contours of your face? I know the contours, I shave it daily, remember. Like most men I've got a set pattern of strokes to quickly and effectively shave the face and neck. The process includes the angle of my fingers, wrist and arm to get the job done. Again, the flexball does it's best to combat this, with a mind of its own. I'd feel safe letting one of my kids or wife shave me with the Proglide since the head/handle is so forgiving and they wouldn't have the sensory feedback of their pressure on my skin. Refill blades are kind of spendy and I'll probably resort back to the Sensor Excel due to price after I've used up the pieces from the Bzz campaign. Don't get me wrong, the razor is nice but it is not perfect for me. I'd be interested in a Fusion Proglide head on a Sensor handle. The best of both worlds.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Comfortable grip, extremely close shave, only negative is that it has such a deep pivot that you can't get up around the nose. The addition of a single straight trim razor for hard to reach areas would be very much welcomed. Overall...my wife enjoyed the fact that the shave was so close

good job on my legs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] thought that would be nice it can't go to you because it would be as part of your account and his review. You would have to be the one testing it and reviewing it. Though, I see lots of women here saying they use men's razors for their legs.
