[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first i was skeptical because of other straight razors but when i started to shave it was smooth it didn't cut me and it took the hair right off my face. It has a head that moves as your shaving so if your going around the jaw you dont have to stop you can just continue. these guys did a bang up job with this razor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one of the closest shaves! I am quite pleased with the comfort of the handle, and the close shave I get. Blades are easy to change and last a long time. The flexball head looks neat, but is pointless. I purposely tried to make it pivot, but never really noticed it move despite the many awkward angles I tried. All-in-all a great quality razor and shave I would highly recommend to anyone. (My wife even 'borrowed' it for her legs and was quite impressed)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Once again not disappointed with the new Gillette product, ProGlide Fusion Flexball razor. With my family of 6 and my very busy Army life of 21 yrs I can only depend on a razor that keeps my face clean cut on the first try. Clean shave and I love the versatility of this razor. In the past I always ran into an awkward stroke over my chin, jaw bone, lip, etc. The razor didn't cut every hair in each different position and in turn I would need to shave daily. I found that this razor made shaving easier as it adjusts to the different areas on my face and neck. Actually cuts every hair! Results of an old fashioned sharp Barber shop shave! I cannot wait for the electronic version to come out!

I've been using this razor for almost 2 weeks now i have noticed quite a change in the smoothness of my shave, (no more annoying straggler hairs) and I haven't nicked my self. I would highly recommend buying one of these to try out if you have never experienced how smooth a Gilette shave can be. The Fusion Proglide gives you the best shave for the money, and I have already purchased refills for it since I no longer want to have to deal with a substandard shave.

I've been a user of the Fusion Power razor since it came out. The blade setup with the addition of vibration made for the best shave I've ever had...before the new Flexball model. Even without vibration, this outperforms the old model, and without having to swap batteries fairly often (a big downside of the Power model). I'm extremely happy with this razor, and look forward to getting as much life and enjoyment out of it as I have the Power model.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This razor really does a good job. In particular, it's a very smooth shave, with no tugging or scraping. If you have issues with nicks or irritation, this will really help you. You really barely feel the blade, and at the same time, it's a really nice, close shave. and with the new pivoting head, it stays close to your face in a way that other razors really don't. It really helps to get a complete shave without having to go back with extra passes because you missed spots. All told, it's a quick, close shave, that really glides effortlessly over your face.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I started shaving I was worried I would cut myself because it was a new blade, but for the first time I didn't cut myself at all! That was a nice change. I don't shave my full face so I didn't get the full effect of the flexball, but it was a comfortable shave none the less. Nice and close, no problems. So far a very nice razor.

One of the better parts of the product is how the handle fits in your hand that is something i would not change i use it in the shower and it does not slip what so ever which is really nice. Even when i have soap on my hands no slip this is a great handle and do not change it.

There's no doubt the proglide version of the Gillette fusion is outstanding. But is it sigificantly better than the original fusion? This is what I've found. I shave in the shower, warm water, using a unscented Gillette shaving gel. The handle of the proglide has a slightly different shape, more of a knob at the end. I suppose the knobv makes it easier to grasp the end of the razor when making gentle swipes alog the skin, sort of an artist at work. But the handle of the original fusion is also okay, and I don't think the new handle is much of an improvement, if any. The blades in the cartridge are great, more than marginally better than the original. A few easy swipes do the job for most of the face. I've found the razor shaves closer than the original about the neck and above the upper lip. Result is the shave time is quicker with a good result. I also believe a proglide cartridge will last longer than the fusion. I've used one cartridge for about twenty shaves, and so far it is doing the job. thus, since the cartridge seems to give more shaves, that fact ought to offset the extra cost. Bottom line is, the new proglide fusion is great, better than the original, but since the original fusion cartridges also do a great jobb, I plan to use them up before switching over to the proglide.
