[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The handle for the Gillette Fusion ProGlide razor is on par with every other handle for razors ever. I mean, it's a stick that holds a razor cartridge on the end. I like that the connector doesn't block the razor in anyway, making for a clean rinse, but it's not some revolutionary design. It holds the razor, and, since I have opposable thumbs, it fits in my hand. There is no barbed wire on it (which could be a security risk if you're concerned about people stealing your razors) so that's something my hand appreciates. It doesn't slip out of my hand thanks to the properties of friction.

I was fortunate enough to try the Gillette Fusion Proglide through a program run by Gillette. Unlike manual razors I had been using, the Fusion Proglide left no stubble behind after shaving. The course hair and stubble were both gone! This was something new and exciting to me. I was waiting for razor burn to start afterwards since this manual razor had 5 blades, but that never happened as well. This too was exciting! So lastly I wanted to see how durable they would be. To my surprise, they lasted for about 2 weeks for me before I had to change the cartridge. This was about 8 days longer than my old manual razor. Totally amazed now! Overall this is the best manual razor I have tried to date and am looking forward to continuing to use in the future.

I had three days worth of stubble, that's about how often I shave, and it didn't pull once. Normally, when I use a new razor, I get nicked at least once; I didn't have any problems with this razor. My face was smooth, minus the hair I purposely left in place, and the precision razor on the backside helped shape that up nicely! All-in-all a great product that I would purchase again and again.I had seen this product before but never tried because I thought it was kind of expensive for a razor, now after trying I can tell that it's worth every penny. I shaved my face yesterday and for the first time no allergies or rash, the quality it's very impressive this razor just hit my top list. I just wished it would be cheaper. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As with all manual, multiple blade shavers, I found I got a decent shave with this razor. I do tend to get a few ingrown hairs, which I can't necessarily fault the razor for, but this one was certainly no different in that respect. I had to pass over a few areas a few times; again, really nothing new. The "Flexball" handle was fine but more of a gimmick, IMO, than a really innovative technology. Plus there was a tiny bit of a learning curve to using it. My main gripes with this, or really any disposable razor these days, are 1) the lube strip works great for the 1st shave, just OK for the 2nd, and even if the blades are sharp enough for more shaves than that, the lube strips are useless; and 2) The refills are outrageously expensive. I am guessing that's why myself, and many others, got to try this for free from Gillette - they can make a mint back on us from buying refills for this. The truth is, I'm a simple guy and while I appreciate a close shave, and do think that multiple blades have improved shaving, the gimmicks (roller ball, vibration, lube strips, etc.) are really just ways to boost the cost of the refills without really changing the overall experience. Give me a few blades, some shaving cream, and I'm good to go. You probably won't hate this razor but you won't be blown away either.

It is an amazing razor, Nice close shave , No razor bumps and The swivel motion of the razor is one of the best razor's I have seen on the market. I recommend to everyone I have come across

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great razor. I've never found a razor that actually did a perfectly satisfactory job until this one. It did what no other razor has done in the past 15 years and that is leave me with zero razor burn around my neck area. Will defiantly be using this product from now on.

Practice makes perfect. In my first review of the Gillete Flexball Razor I stated the slight difficulty I had using the flexball movement vs the fixed blade Gillete Fusion Razor. I must say that after continuous use, say about five days, I have firmly grasped the flexibilty of the Fusion Flexball Razor and I must say that I have never experienced such a consistent clean shave. It is easier to use with a little practice and confidence, and flexes with the contours of my face. A better razor I could not find and I am including my experiences with electric razors. I am 63 years old and it is mow a pleasure to shave instead of a daily chore.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The razor didn't tug on my hairs like the Mach 3 blades that I typically use and the pro glide system allowed me to get a perfect shave with only one pass which was really incredible and means I can shave faster. Also, no nicks and no razor burn. Impressive product! Now my wife stole it for her legs and she likes it too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was hoping that the ProGlide would provide a better shave than just the fusion razor. It doesn't. The ProGlide seems to be just a gimmick that doesn't deliver. It's still a fine razor, but no better than the previous one. The pictures also made it seem sturdily built -- in reality it looks like the swivel will break after a year or so of use.
