This is probably the best razor I have tried in a long time. I first noticed that it was a bit different when I took it out of the package. I like the feel of the handle. The handle has a much more substantial feel to it and the grip is much better than most razors on the market. Probably the most important thing about any razor is whether it gives a close, smooth shave. This definitely outperforms in both of the categories. Because the blades are thinner there is no pull -- just a smooth, effortless shave. It glides over bumps on my face with ease and makes me feel as though I am getting a good close shave.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gillette has produced another razor with multiple blades (5 this time) and it does a fine job of getting the beard off your face. But so does every other Gillette razor going back for years. I found this particular razor to be no better or worse than the ones I have used in the past and I've been shaving for over 50 years. If you are thinking about trying this razor, I recommend against doing so. When you figure the price of these highly technical shaving cartridges combined with the initial cost of the basic handle, this Fusion ProGlide model is not worth the price and I will just continue using my old Gillette razors.

My face was smoother than it was when I used other razors & shaving cream. I defiantly recommend the Gillete Fusion ProGlide Razor & the Ocean Breeze Shave Gel.

This Flex ball is the best hand held shaver ever. I just received the closet,smoothest, most comfortable shave in my 45 years of shaving. No even the slightest hint of razor burn on my shin bones which I get when I use a new blade for the first time. This is such a super shaver that I have done something I have never done for any product ever and that is write a review on it. More than five stars in my book Gillette. No improvements needed.

So smooth and works very well with the contours of your face. The Proglide gave me a shave like no other. I actually look forward to shaving now, the Fusion was great and the Proglide is even better and the blades actually last! Very good deal for the money!!

Fits in the hand perfectly and its easy to go every which way with it as not every hair on the face comes out the same way. Real simple to grip in your hand and trim up the edges and do some manscaping

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After receiving this razor for free from Gillette, i cracked the packaging open and inspected the razor. First thought: Feels a bit more robust than the other Gillette ProGiled (the one with the motor in it) I have. The handle feels vary solid, and has nice rubber grips on it. Upon inspecting the "Flexball" feature, the best way I can describe it is, its similar to the Dyson Ball vacuums. No matter what position your hand is at, the blades stay flat against your skin. It also has a spring that bring the blade angle back to 0 when pressure is removed. I was a bit intrigued by the idea so I pulled out my shaving cream and got ready to test it out. First shave: I hadn't shaved in a week, so my facial hair was a bit longer than I normally let it go. I lathered up and started the shave. The flex technology seemed to work well, I went a little wild with my hand location relative to my face and the blades were flat on my skin. I did notice that i had to go over a few places more than once (docked one star for this). Post Shave: My skin feels nice and smooth. At the time of my shave (in the evening) I was not blown away by the new technology but after thinking about it, this will be nice in the early morning before work to give a bit of a buffer for those early morning pre-coffee shaves. Final Thought: I'm pleased with the new razor. I'm glad that Gillette continue to use the same blade latching system, so I can keep using the extra blades I have.

When I shave, its usually with an electric because I usually break out like I was a teenager. I have tried all types of lotions, creams gels and after shave products, but never had much success until I used the Fusion Proglide. Gilette actually sent me a sample. I was skeptical at first, but I used it twice and my face was as smooth as it has ever been, and I never broke out. It was great to not have to go back over any spots and I still have the same cartridge on my razor 2 weeks later!
