Thanks to Bzzagent and Gillette, I was able to try this awesome razor for free. I shave my head regularly and this razor did the job flawlessly. The pivot ball near the head made the strokes much smoother on a curved surface. The blades didn't tug on my thicker beard hair either, which was nice. I would recomend this razor to anyone! This razor has replaced my previous ones for sure!

Nice heft, size, and shape, and doesn’t get slippery when wet- which is awesome when you’re as clumsy as I am. Overall a great razor with thought put into every aspect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Actually there was no cuts the razor glided over my face it was like glue just stuck right around every stroke and its one stroke and is clean Shaven I have a extremely coarse beard and it was amazing it took so little time to shave no going back over spots I loved it no razor burn either when using the ocean breeze shave gel and the blades are still sharp enough to shave quite a few more times

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I expected the first shave to be extremely close and it was, although it was a learning process. I took my time considering the new technology especially around my Adam's Apple and my problem area on my chin. But after becoming more acclimated to the FlexBall it proved to provide a smooth close shave and be easy to use. I do appreciate the larger handle although I am used to a heavier shaver considering my current shaver is the Power Glide. Once I became used to the new shaver - about the fifth shave - it provided a close smooth shave just be careful with the new movement of the blades.

Before then, I would occasionally get cuts, raw skin and razor bumps (from ingrown hairs) after shaving. Since I started with the ProGlide, I have not had those problems. I get a close shave with no irritation or bad after effects. I won't use anything else from now on!

I got this razor from Gillette to try and it's not bad. I use the Fusion now and this one is just as good. Not sure about the Flexball though. It doesn't seem to add much to the shave experience. I shave my head every other day and this worked as well as my Fusion. The flexball didn't make a difference in the shave quality. The handle is sturdy and the razor blade was sharp. The blade shaved smoothly and didn't cut my face or head while using it. I'm thinking I'll stick with my Fusion since I didn't see much difference with the Flexball, but if they were the same price or took the same blade refills, I may buy it.

I have been using a Proglide for years and love it, but I think I will have to switch out my razor to the Proglide with Flexball handle. The shave is closer and quicker, it tracks the contours of my face so well I find that I do not have to go back over the same spot more than once. I only wonder if the Power Proglide with Flexball is even better.

This product used to be great. Over the past year or so I have been noticing that I am getting less and less shaves from one blade. The biggest annoyance is that when the ravor drops, usualyy from a height of about 2 feet, it breaks. You cannot put it back together and are forced to put in a new blade. Can someone tell me if Gilette has changed the design or possibly using different materials to make these blades? The razor gives a great shave but I am spending to much money replacing the blades. I am considering going back to a straight razor. At least they don't break. If Gilette has changed the way in which they make their blades, I would recommend that they go back to the old way.
